Intresting! Now that you mention it, is the novel very different from the drama? I love reading OPs for the shows I watch and I've tried to read some Chinese original works several times (translated or not) but they were so different that it seemed like another story with similar names. (and they're sooo long with +100 chapters and a bunch of extras😅)

Actually I love the whole concept of the worlds with demons, deities, humans, etc and I like the cast but I've dropped enough to ask around before starting a new one. I'm not the crying sort but thanks for the warning 😉
