It's typical but I think they emphasis on BDY's plastic surgery a bit too much, firstly I think they should've made it as she's done it for a while and not at the start of the drama. Not her face but her skin, body, etc implies that she had a complete make over and did body jobs too if we are to believe she was a wrinkly old lady until recently. 2ndly, she may not look 70 but she does look the actress' age that is late 50s I suppose, a healthy loking middle aged woman is what she looks but we have people behaving as if she looks 30! The worst of it is the director. He actually believed she's his junior. If they'd shown the clinic she went to I would suspect it more of a promotion than a plot drive!
Now that we only have one week left I think it's safe to judge it a little. The main reason this drama isn't very interesting is not the pacing, the messed up story or weird dialougues, it's that main characters are just d**m boring. IK many people here love DRA/DCG and DDM/KSJ pairings but all 4 of them are unlikable and quite dull, not that others are any better but if you have interesting characters, any kind of weirdness would be tolerable.
The only interesting thing about JSM is that her younger cousin has caught BDY's eye. Looking forward to see her reaction, not that she has a wide range of facial expressions but still!
The fantasy part of this drama isn't two people traveling in time or incarnation, it's that two total strangers come into your house and like some hero on a mission, you provide them with the best from the necessities to work and education, no question asked. This family spend a lot of time just talking about nothing yet our smart chairwoman and her 3 CEO sons don't give a 2nd thought about their unexpected guests. (Funny is that everytime they're moving their load becomes heavier, I'm afraid on their next move, they're going to need a truck to move their cases!)
I don't like to comment repetitive words everyweek so I try to say it in a new way🤪I think this drama is the result of having a person used to writing +50 or better say +100 eps. dramas to write a short one (and a single season) At this rate I don't think we're going to say goodbye to this anytime soon. two weeks left and we're still having the same conversations and scenes over and over....
imo, now both brother and sister are into her 😬😂😂😂
Yeah, I just can't take her. It's ff everytime she's on screen. Stalking her MIL wasn't enough, now she's manipulating DRA and KSJ to move into her house so her husband can have an affair😬
Don’t worry about it - suspect they are deeply disturbed and a coward. They did the same thing to me, sent me…
I don't want to butt in your discussion but seeing this thread reminded me of something. Quite agree on your point about insecure and intolerate people lurking around and I want to add biased people here. Once I asked in a page if a novel has a summerised version as it's too long to read. Then I got a long answer about how it's not long at all and interesting enough to read several times then about how I'm a fake troll pretending to like the story and asking fake question and similar nonsense. When I replied I found out they'd blocked me!! Such nerve! 😄😬
Unlike 1st season which was packed with cases and copycats, 2nd season only wants to do 2 things: finding The Watchman and solving immigrant workers' mystery. This makes for a slow season and the ridiculous thing is that despite having extra time to waste, at the end there are STILL some loose ends left behind. For example, it was strongly implied that Lu Qi was MXS's son and Yang told him, LQ would be even more devastated was he to find out the truth but it was left at that. Still, I enjoyed the story as a whole and characters were interesting.
Now after 1st and 2nd DILs, Ayla is showing her true ugly colours, not that she was sweet to begin with but still she can't seem to hold herself in in front of them anymore.
