Actually there's another longer plot summary for the drama, I think it's before CEW's casting, you may have seen it, the last part reads:

"Somehow, Eun Soo-Hyun gets involved with other people who suffer from similar pain as her and solves their mysterious cases. They slowly get healed in the process."


I think this explains more about so called love and redemption.

Btw, I did mean KNJ and CEW as mama romance. When age gap becomes more than 10-12 yrs it's more like papa/mama romance to me. 😅

I really hope so. I'm not a romance fan generally and I prefer it at little as possible or none at all. Still about potential love here, KNJ is older than KKW as well and her husband in my own favourite of her dramas (Queen of the Housewives) was younger too and I really loved and shipped them then and like this now, but the way they promoting it, shows red flag of a mama-romance.

I really enjoyed it. Very well-made with some decent twists along the way. I don't mind violence or gore scenes, they were done well. Though ending of the killer was too easy imo.

I watched ep. 8 and you're right. I was blown away as well, I didn't see That twist coming. If it was horror or psyhological, I would've anticipated it but in a normal drama, no.

I quite agree with you on your points and I mainly blame writing. It takes more than it can chew with the limited screen time and just 9 eps. The summary makes it like the daughter's problems is the most important but in fact it's the least of her parents' concerns. They seem content to see her come and go, even the fact that they didn't tell her the truth shows they prefer not to be involved with her teen dramas if they can avoid it.

Also, the significance behind the Chairperson position was revealed too late imo, It was smart not explaining it early on but they could do it in the mid-parts and create more tension. About sister, what I didn't get was the point of FL and SML being exes, they were both married, they didn't have any scenes together, (if you count out the fire scene) let alone being provoked, besides he already had a lover. That English speaking lady could play more role as a friend for the husband, they were both losers with secrets they couldn't tell others. But they made it look like a potential affair and left that.

I like to completely agree with you on your reasons but plus romance genre and summery about love, there are several other tags normally used on a romantic relationship like older woman/younger man and age gap (real/drama life) that actually make me doubtful about this drama, I love three main cast but if they're going to be the man, his wife and her boytoy here, I'm going to be out. Considering how rarely KNJ works or KKW not having any dramas on line for now I hope for a matual healing drama here.

I'm on ep. 7 and I suspect FYZ (her neighbour) too but I hope the endgame villian won't be him, Ying Wen's only started to open up and feel alive now. That alternative makes everything worse for her.

For now, I only fast forwarded through some episodes to see how it goes and end but one thing that disappointed me about this was guest appearance of Ye XingSi and Yong Jie as a role model of true love. There wasn't any need of reminding us of that disgusting plot😶

Actually I like the idea of seeing him in a time he was the mountain god and there was no mate and not everything he did evolved around Ah Reum, specially now that we've seen his trio with HJ and MY. Also, considering he's ran out of time twice by now (in 16-hour return and path of the damned ) it's possible he stays behind a third time. But, if we say that S1 epilogue when he saw Lee Rang as a little boy is after he goes to 1938 and back, this theory would be wrong.

Yeah, In original Rang probably stayed a bandit.

I think Taluipa told Yeon his actions in the past won't have any impact on people from that era, like Rang, Hong Joo, Eun Ho, etc, hence Rang not remembering this events in the future. Do I remember right?

As Rang/Mermaid romance keeps going forward, I find myself even more bored of her.....

I have no idea what's the story here, but as much as Shin Ha Kyun plays goodies greatly I hope for him to be a villain here, he plays badguys just fantastic🤩
