So let me get this straight. Since episode 13 QS has been doing EVERYTHING (including giving his life to what he thought and planned) to have just 1 person in his blood FAMILY believe his words of not to trust QHS and that he is the sword king. Not one of them believed but his sister who was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt because he is her brother(not even blood by the way) . Meanwhile dumb and dumber brother who supposedly have more martial world experience than "young, reckless and childish" QS are hook line and sinker going to believe some outsider they had limited experience or exposure with over him thought most of his story checked out already. They were prepared to open the Xiao's door letting in the wolf in sheeps clothing. No one blamed them for being decieved by their "friend" QHS. No one also apologized to QS for their treatment of him though he was right either. Now dumb and dumber brother show up extremely late to the party though thry left first and only encountered 1 attack. QS had time to "die" lie in his coffin for half a day get kidnapped by LSF, tortured, poisoned and locked in a dungeon then ride to thr Xiao's manner right when the party started and made a significant contribution by slicing and dicing LSF. Now because he tells them he thiught his enemy was his friend and it was his fault (which it wasn't) his blood brothers treat him worse than the lowest of low being and kick and beat him under the impression he has lost his martial arts and was very recently crippled and "dead" . They they expell him from their family and abandon him. With blood brothers like these who needs emenies. LSF treated him better. 🤭 I am at a loss for words. This is the older brother's fault. They didnt have to waste days arguing and not believing him they could have gotten there sooner. His sworn bothers are so much better. I hope he doesnt make up with them later. I hate his siblings except his sister. Though grief striken she sees it wasnt his fault and sticks with him. Smh. His parents would be ashamed of his 2 brothers. Thats why their mother and father liked QS better.

I just realized it is a 40 EPISODE drama. 40 episodes and I am watching closely and caught up to the recent episode. 😭 It is going to be a very painful few weeks for me unless I find something for me to distract myself so I can lump episodes together. The 2 episodes a day is not enough right now. Any drama recs anyone?

Also one of his sworn brothers AKA the better brothers being killed. I don't see any other end but a duel to the death. 😂

Lol. I tink CY picks these roles on purpose. However when it first started I was worried I wouldn't like it, though I give everything him and Xu Kai star in a chance. To me the way it started seemed kind of different from the other works he has chosen. They all usually feel so heavy and emotional from minute 1. As of episode 14, I can confirm this is a true CY role. 🤣. The heaviness might be somewhat absent but the emotional aspect is not. When he was pleading with them to believe him I got choked up. I will say it is the right blend of comedy, intensity and emotion.

I have no idea how QS will "reform LSF" especially if QS isn't able to change fate and save his family. After episode 14 I already think too much has haappened because of LSF for any reform or reconciliation. I also think he is misinformed regarding his grudge with the Xios.

Wow. This episode showed just why Yiren would make a horrible sect leader. I dont know how he could believe outsiders than the person you grew up with, your blood. I get he viewed his as reckless before come on. The things they were accusing him of was past reckless behavior. He is definitely letting his resentment of QS wanting to compete for the sect leader role lead in his decision making. I would not consider him a brother anymore after this. I would have refused to go back to the same home as him and woule cut all ties. His sworn brothers are far better anyway.

I wasn't implying anything of the sort. I was simply using the term she continued to use in the drama to describe not just herself but other female characters. I agree with your post. Thanks for sharing these words for others to understand.

I agree and he has gotten to the point where he probably does wonder if he was too quick to abandon him and should have believed him and looked for evidence but his pride and the fact that everyone else says it was him and the fact he lost his "love"...I think obsession more than love to NH is definitely making him salty. I wonder if when the truth comes out if he will actually day those 3 words or will he be too far gone.

And his sexy running/ gliding in the air/across the floor in slow motion saves/entrances. Oh and my fave the super cool and sexy slow motion jump through fire holding 3 young kids and flames behind him 😍 I fell in love with that scene.

It is heartbreaking that he had mo choice to becone this this. He is literally a product of his unfair and brutal upbringing and treatment. He sees he had no plan B or C when he was 9 and sees where that led him and he refuses to be thay defenseless again. 😭 He lives his life expecting an arrow knife coming for him from the front, a brutal kick from the side and the unexpected arrow from behind. I wouldnt put it past him to be prepared with a plan D in prep for the skies falling on his head. Sad but so formidable. CGH could never!

I understand your point of view completley and I am in agreement with you. I went into this as a neutral party not caring about any of the characters and wanting anyone to be happy or suceed in anything (😂 sounds cold I know but go with me) I went into this purely for entertainment because the 1st episode was so funny. I also always have a tendency to root for the FL and hate the villian no matter what. So my entire makeup wanted to love SYM and hate NH. Interesting to find your villian and ML are one in the same. Which do you love and which do you hate? As the episodes progressed things have changed. I see what you are explaining and agree.

First episode was hilarious. My first Thai drama in a while as others could not hook me with one episode. I am looking forward to this one.

THEN has the nerve to talk to her like that. WOOOOW. Man. It couldn't have been me. This would have ended up VERY differently.

He has become a master of acting weak down to the fake frazzled act and the shaking body full of fake fear. By proper definitions he can be classified as a psychopath. Lol. I find it so creepy how 5 seconds after he gets the outcome he wants the switch up is in his eyes. Gives me chills.

All I kept thinking was Xiwen's fortune when she gave them their gifts for the new year. The concubine was warned she would end up empty handed then and there. AND Xiwen even gave her a second reading free of charge before she left the Zhuang mansion and STILL she didn’t heed it. SMH. I saw this betrayal tens of epiaodes away not because of of her but because of Yushan and her mindset, behavior and temperament. Even Yushan's explanation was weak. Girl you are still betting on the wrong horse. Story of her life I guess. I wonder if she will make it out of this series alive.

If Hanyan was chang'an's daughter I think the mother would have used her last breath to tell her that or even told Chang'an before he died. I want her to be but if she is why didn’t Xiwen tell her even in secret? I am holding out hope there is a secret letter down the line that Hanyan gets that drops that bomb. 🤞

Xiwen the fortune teller that won't miss not once. She said that old concubine woman would end up with nothing and now she has lost 2 children because of her husband. Smh. I am speechless with episode 19. Talk about don't blink. I feel like I shouldn't laugh at the dumb little brother who thought he was going to accomplish something this time when he never accomplishes anything but messing things up. I still laughed.
