The reason he erased her memory i don't think it was because of his identity mainly. She had no clue a b out any of it at the time he confronted her. I believe it was because she went through a whole about face turn on her personality talking about before meeting him she had questions why the immortals had to be separate from the world and not get involved though the humans had so much suffering that the immortals could easily help with if they stopped the rule of not interfering which is what she did when she went all kill bill on her in name only husband because he was wronged. Her entire personality flipped and she was bitter (rightfully so) and angry saying she would never make the mistake again and never interfere with humans no matter the injustice. I think he could not stand to see the goodness snd kind heart she had towards humans turn cold as most if not all the other immortals in the sects. After living for thousands of years i can imagine the amount of truly good people he has met can be counted on 2 maybe 3 hands.

So maybe a small percent if any was to prevent her from putting 4 and 4 together waaay down the line because honestly she was not thinking about it at all nor had she really had any clues to his identity. Those clues came in the valley when they met again after her memory was wiped.

I don't think he thought about the enemies she would have made he just didn’t want her heart to turn cold like the others which makes sense seeing some of his past in his long life with other people.

I said the same thing after episode 17 as the story unfolds more treachery. I wonder if he can pause for a few years and just be at the the top of the martial arts list and then when things cool down pick it back up. 😬

Ok. So rapid fire here we go. 1) The grandmother is horrible. She knows they are all competing against each other and knows the others are scheming amongst each other but allows it because she thinks by this happening it keeps RSB sharp and makes her better. As long as the Rong family reputation and tea quality doesn't get hurt it is all fair game. 2) The youngest sister is the 2nd to worst person in the gamily. Willingly and happily turn against your sister for a cousin to help plot harm to your sisters. Then plays the victim constantly and wants to feel guilty for how she treated her sister when she isn't allowed to participate in thr funeral but gets angry about it. Talk about childish and simple minded. She needs a massive lesson. 3) The blind sister. Smh. The snake in the garden whose plan is to stay being the weak to spring up and take out each threat one by one until she is left. I don't think she is really blind. Some things she does screams it. Imagine all you can see pretending to be blind. Your enemies will disregarded you because they don't see you as a threat and will slip up in front of you. She gets the most valuable intel. She is the most ruthless one. She teams up with whoever is strongest at the moment but rides the line of choosing neither until necessary. She thought the other 3 could take RSB down but they failed over and over and now she is making bigger moves. It will be interesting moving forward because RSB is no idiot and probably already knows what she is up to. Lol.

I also think RSB and LJL don't need to speak or coordinate to know what the other thinks or wants. I think she is hurt by him not showing up to the wedding and going for Ms. Yang instead but she is smart enough and level headed to keep her emotions out of it to really see what he was doing this for. I also think she knew on some level he remembered and still fell for him so this tension between them is others. I think they are more insync than most realize.

RSB's male cousin is despicable. I wanted her to tear into him so bad. The worst kind of person to love you.

I also view her as a tragic character. I dislike her with a passion but I understand how a naive and sheltered girl can fall for the bare minimum and turn her whole life upside down just for a smile from her crush and idealistic hope for the future that her crush will eventually like her. I can understand but my goodness she is frustrating because all the signs are there that you are making mistake after mistake. Plus sibling code lol never fall for or marry your sibling's enemy who has tried to kill them several times. Lol

And she doesn't care and low-key manipulates her brother saying she is disappointed in him for putting state affairs first and using her life as a threat to save his enemy who has tried killing him on numerous attempts knowing her brother will choose her. She hasn't chosen him once. I think she learned too much from the empress.

I understand what you are saying. However, she could have saved him and called it even. Use the name plate and say your goodbyes. Crazy how low the bar is set for her to "fall in love" fall in infatuation with him. All he did was give her water and not kill her because she is a woman. He didn't even know if the water would last long or if someone was coming for her. As far as he knew the water was just prolonging the inevitable. Such a low bar for me to betray my brother and father and country for. Lol

I have a question. Is anyone on Princess XY's side with her decisions up to current episodes? Or is anyone sympathizing with her? I am genuinely curious.

I bawled mybeyes out for each death. Then laughed when I realized who I was watching. I should have known once I clicked episode one. Its like we all should expect it but we are always shocked and heartbroken when it happens. 🤣

And in the drama it looks like she got her man. Long pining sometimes ends up well. Lol

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 ALL OF HIM DIED. XMM. LCZ. XQS. I think Cheng Yi has out did himself with this one. Usually it is just one of him that dies or one of him in 3 lifetimes. This time no he went above and beyond. All three of him died in one lifetime but two worlds. 🤣

Question. LSF saw the face of LCZ and the face of QS. How is he not confused or thinking something is suspicious with them being identical? Am I missing something? At first I thought he never saw his face but the flashback shows he saw him clearly and the other episode where he took the palm strike he saw him before. Why doesn't he same phased that they are identical?

I can see it in the drama. The way hia voice and face softens with her is very telling. Also the way she treats him is either she likes him also or she could possibly see him as a son. Hopefully it is the last one because otherwise she watched him grow up and that just adds an ick factor.

Poor XY. I knew after Yiren treated QS like that she was not safe. I knew she would become a chess piece. Also how dumb is older brother? I knew he was dumb but not a complete idiot. Where was he keeping the manual? In a box in the office labled "Xiao family secret huanhua sect moves. No one look here"? Smh. That thing should have been behind some death formation mechanism. The family sword was harder for QS and every other Xiao family dependant to unlock than that manual was for a diciple to find it. Smh. Also crazy is it how quick those you raised, taught, and nurtured can betray you. Yeah Yiren's request of them paying back rent by a 100 times was crazy especially the way he did it but wow. This whole time when they went to dumb and dumber brother and the fall of the Xiao family then back to QS and his cool solo fight training i always sighed heavily panning to the brothers then sighed dreamily and said "meanwhile" when it went back to QS. Like polar opposites now. One is on the rise and living his best "as can be expected after being beaten and abandoned by those he loved and killed himself to protect and having his parents maybe probably more than likely killed" life. The crazy thing to me is that if they are both in Jindu then why hasnt news of QS's recent accomplishments reached dumb and dumber? Why doesn't QS know about the bullying and betraying of his ex-family going on? I get he is busy doing important things but news always travels for everyone else. SM looks like she liked what she saw when QS walked out that lake 😉. Guess she is seeing him different after he saved her and upheld dignity and virtue. I didnt mention it before but in the episode QS found the hero command token in the dagger he was give by Madam Wu's attendant that I am sure she hid the token inside for him I was like of course I knew he had it even though he didn't know. Lol. Also did anyone else roll their eyes at Yiren when he said he was too hard on someone but still sees nothing wrong with what he did to QS? I am suspicious that the hooded man might he the original book author. How? I have no idea. Lol

And that slow motion walk out of the river sold her too. The look on her face mirrored mine 🤤. Lol

That is what they have all been addressing her as. I don't see an ounce of affection between them though.

This is one of the things that frustrate me with some dramas they just don't relay all information that is relevant. I am glad QS didn't mention the key because his mother wanted him to keep it not his worthless brothers and it would have been taken away. There was so much information that seems to have been lost when recounting what someone has experienced. It's not that they don't have the time it's just overlooked. I don't think his brothers know half as much as what went down at the manor when Madam Wu was there and they don't know everything TF and QS encountered with others out in the martial world. I guess it makes the story progress but it is frustrating. Lol

While sad, I loved the way the two old masters showed up to the party and unfortunately died. Just from the few short minutes of them on the screen together you got a good sense of their characters and their friendly rivalry over their life. They fought flawlessly together and died poeticlly together at the same time in pretty much the same position. It was beautiful and beautifully done

And to think he was the best one for the job of next sect leader. Lol. He lacks the foresight, creativity and basic common sense to be any sect leader. Having a good reputation is not enough to be a sect leader. And if he has a good reputation outside makes me wonder why and how?

That is another thing. They just left the dozens of sect member brothers lying there. He didn't even make sure the grave keeper actually showed up. He just ordered coffins and left. So much for those members who loved and lived with them and died for their family. All they seemed inclined to take was the house name plaque. Smh. They are the worst. I think LSF has his parents bodies or has them. Part of me doesnt want to believe they are dead yet because we know the rule of c-dramas "if you don't see them die then they live. I think he might torture them just to be satisfied with their death or extract some more info from them regarding the massacre of his family. The other half feels they might be dead because of that long montage we got of QS and his parents at different times. But we also got a montage of the dumb and dumber brothers with QS after they abandoned him. That to me signified that they are dead to him 🤞 I was also sad by the whole episode. After the latest episode, I DEFINITELY don't see a reconciliation between QS and LSF ever. 😬
