This was pretty good. It doesn't take itself too serious as a show and honestly focuses more on the BL romance than the "plot" of the show. Ohm of course was amazing but Leng did really well. Many tend to forget 1) this is Leng's first acting job! and 2) apparently Leng initially auditioned for a side character role but they offered him the lead! Ohm and Leng have really good chemistry together and seemed to have acting together, I'm really excited to see what else they will give us.
I just finished the drama 1 month later and what can I say? Just that for me this season has nothing to do and…
The captian's family knows Tae Sang from the 1940s, they are from the same neighborhood as the grandmother and her grandson. Seung Jo is the mistress's son that was born at the very end of season 1. Tae Sang is strong because he was infected by the Najin, the worm/bug things infected people, you saw that in a flashback when his entire "family" was killed by Lady Maeda and she had her thugs beat the crap out of him. Not a fan of the giant open ending with everything, but they did explain all the connections if you were paying attention.
I absolutely love this drama!!! FL going around in a Mario pajama onesie with a chicken purse, just made it!! FL and her bestie were hysterical and ML caught on quick that FL was faking it but never called her out on it, just let FL do her thing.
Only 2 episodes so far, Elyse is a legitimate A-hole of the ultimate order! I don't see anything redeeming about hom so far. I am waiting for Pat to say screw you and leave him, at least for awhile.
I waited awhile before finally watching this show. It's not bad, very low drama that focused more on misunderstanding and being young. It has a mature spin to this series that we don't usually see a lot. To be fair, it's only 8 episodes so there is only so much that can be done but they do a good job with giving us everything we need for the story and they do deliver with the emotional connections. Give it a shot, the actors did a good job!
I'm really interested, if it's for sure Taiwanese production that I am all over it -- but if it's a China production, I'll probably wait to make sure it stays up. I'm always super cautious about watching anything BL related from China because they like to take it all down.
Not a huge fan of these special episodes, I felt they could have gone a different route with this. we didn't really get anything from these episodes except Pai has made bank in Bangkok and is actually doing really well for herself. I'm assuming Kana/Pao are officially together?
I really enjoyed this show. It was a simple, low drama show about friendship/life in a small village/having a found family. There wasn't anything major going on other than the different characters figuring out their feelings and figuring out their lives, separately and together. The show did a really good job on touching on issues and bringing attention to it -- Pai's situation of being trans and having to do more to prove herself just because of her identity, Pao having all this pressure put on him by family/villagers of being the golden child, Barbie wanting to make her own life and not fall into expectations from her dad. I had some issues with the show, but that is a production issue. The cast did a really good job and I really enjoyed their hardwork.
This was a really well done show and I do like how they showed the progression -- of Wei Quan finding/raising the younger siblings and then them all as adults. Quan legitimately struggling with Yuan's attention and having to figure himself out. I do appreciate they showed us this process along with those around them helping out as well. The show helped give the understanding of what family is.
This show is so good!!! It's so comforting to watch.I love this entire friend group and the various couples that came together. There wasn't really any red flags or horrible behaviors. I'm not much for High School/University shows, but this show is worth it.
I'm curious what the hold up is? They had all this build up and excitement for the show, that has dwindled down. Is it a licensing issue? An issue between Korea and Thailand? Barcode and Jeff no longer mention this show anymore too.
