Guys i have a important question for all of you before the third and fourth episode will air today. My question…
She's been underrated for too long. I've been following her work for long now, and maybe this is the start of her breakthrough? It all depends on how well it continues and the opportunities she grabs after to try make the most out of it, that's vital.

The soundtrack Heize ' You're cold' is soo good, i hope someone will make English translation soon. And also the…
There's already english translations of it. You can find the lyrics translation in popgasa but there's also a channel that uploaded a FMV with English subtitles on YT (the sound and the lyrics are SO good)

I am hoping that we get to hear a few more of the fairy tales from her storybooks throughout this series. I truly…
Yeah, I completely agree. It also talks about how bad memories are as important as good memories. They teach us how to overcome them and make us grow and know ourselves or even make us better ourselves. I think that a "forever" happiness has been so idolized throughout books and films and series, that we need to make a turn because that isn't reality at all nor it shouldn't. Life is about the happiness and the hurt and the sadness, and that's okay. It's okay to be hurt and be sad and be different.

It's awesome! I knew what I was looking forward to! The acting is great, Kim Soo Hyun and Seo Ye Ji (and the other…
Yeah, if people don't like the exploration of complex unconventional relationships they shouldn't watch this. For the ones that do, like myself, this is thrilling.

I'm not really feeling it. She comes across as a psycho and narcissist. I just don't know how you "fix" that so…
I think we just met her, if the script is as good as it seems to be, you'll get to know her and what truly makes her tick, slowly, throughout the series. Also, she does have a anti-social disorder so, it's alright if she comes off as narcissist and psycho lol it all depends on what you describe as a meaningful relationship, if that means a "normal" relationship, then I don't think we'll get that because that would defy the point the drama is trying to make. Not being normal is okay. Look at the brothers, do they have a "normal" relationship? Nope, but you can tell even with their difficulties they have managed to develop a deep relationship between them. Even behaving like she did, she already made a positive impact on the ML's life without even intending to, making him gather courage to try and confront his trauma. It all depends on how they affect each other from now on, but that's my opinion.

Someone in the prod team is a genius for coming up with these lit transitions

The cinematography for this is terrific. I read some comments that described the FL as "typical sassy", if that's how you describe the FL then you didn't really watch it. You can tell the FL has a hard time connecting with her emotions, but at the same time she comes off, to me at least, really emotional in a way... it's an captivating contrast. She seems like an interesting complex character, and she has suffered through a lot of trauma, you can already tell that from the beginning. I think Seo Yeji is doing an incredible job portraying this character so far.

Also, for the ones that say they don't what the plot is for this drama, well, there's the mystery surrounding the death of the ML's parents and also the FL's past but I think this drama will be more about how their relationship unfolds, and I'm not talking just in the romantic aspect, but more on the healing aspect. How someone can come into your life and ask you all the questions you needed to ask yourself but never really knew until they asked them. I also think it's ironic in a very interesting way, and kind of beautiful, how everyone thinks she is the one that needs help, but just in two episodes, she's actually the one that has began to help him emotionally, completely unintentionally on her part though lol

Title Hyena
I loved this show. I almost didn't watch it because of some reviews/comments here talking about how awful the characters were.
Awful pointless characters? It reminded me of SKY Castle, where I couldn't get behind what motivated each character which made me unable to root or get invested with any of their ordeals. But it was different with this show for me, I'm happy I ended up giving it a chance.

The FL was such an interesting character, the more I watched the more I could see what motivated her, how she balanced the reality of her job and her morals and her own principles as a lawyer. It's not a character you get to understand from the get go, it's a slow process, much like life. I think a lot of people get turned off by the harsh front and how she is presented in the first episode, I understand, but I found her very far from being an awful character. She was a complex, well-written and unconventional character. A badass cunning woman, ambitious and career driven, but who also has emotions? How often do you see that? I guess some romantics would get turned off by her too, but if you want romantics you have the ML to save the day, in a way.

I got impatient with the ML because he lacked focus at times but that's also another aspect I liked about the story, how it shows people struggling with their emotions, principles and expectations. As a whole, I adored the ML too, it was impossible for me not to. The whole team is lovable, I liked how there was no real animosity between female characters even when they were "rivals". The only character I really disliked was the "best friend" of the ML... I really couldn't get behind him at all. He annoyed me more than the "villains".

Anyway, if you want a dreamy romance... this isn't it. But if you want to see complex people getting to know each other, finding common ground, respect and love... then give this a try. Also, it may not be a "dreamy" romance but there's a lot a moments I kept replaying.

Did you even read the synopsis? This isn't a romance drama.
I think they just got confused and thought you were talking about the daughter.
18 years isn't really that much if there's a good story behind it, it all depends how it's tackled tbh, but that's what I think anyway. In these days it should hardly matter... as long as they are all adults, obviously.

I love how people are complaining about the age difference between the two leads but nobody from what I saw ever…
They complained about the leads of Radio Romance, a lot of people freaked out about the kisses being so "mature".

They EVEN complained when Yoojung acted with Bogum who is closer to her age. I think the problem is that she isn't on her twenties and not the actual gap. But then, there were some people disliking almost the same gap in Bogum's new drama and he is way in his twenties.

I don't know. I don't understand their logic- it's her decision and her job, no one is forcing her. But they ALWAYS complain, that's for sure.

they always complain when the male is older but doesn't when the female lead is older. Such a double standard.
Oh, they always complain. It just SEEMS that happens more with young actresses because it happens way more often. But they are as problematic with young actors (under twenty), especially if they are idols.
