For me personally, I would watch another 8 episodes of season 2 where they explain the reasoning behind why Babylon and Bale decided to come for Jinman after all these years; how did Jinman fake his death, what was his actual long term plan, what was he doing during the period that Jian was being attacked in the shopping mall. It would be good if the show also explored and expanded on Babylon and the mercenary company, what are goals and motives. What are the rules they live by etc. Second season could even make the Babylon company as the main villain, abit like John Wick. There are a lot of different areas to explore if they did do another season. I enjoyed this one so will def watch if they bring out another one.

Initially they came to kill the niece and take Murthehelp. Later they were told to bring Jian in alive. Why Babylon and the mercenaries came after Jinman and Jian after leaving them alone for 8 years, this was left unanswered. There are a few things left unanswered which I think season 2 will explain if it gets renewed.

Initially Babylon didn’t endorse Bale and the other mercenaries going after Jinman’s family. They acted on their own because they are Bale’s cronies. Jinman forced the old man/Babylon to stop and that’s why Jinman and Jian were able to live peacefully for 8 years. Something happened to cause them to come after Jinman and Murthehelp but the drama hasn’t explained what that reasoning is. I think they will flesh all of that out in season 2.

They all came because Babylon put a bounty on all of them, including Pasin and Minhye. So they all came for the money, and also left because Jian offered them more money.

What happened to Bale, that was intentional left open for a potential season 2 I’m assuming.

I hope there is a season 2. We need answers. I wonder whether Jinman had anything to do with Babylon telling the assassins that they had to bring Jian in alive. It makes sense considering Jinman’s state at the end, he must have been doing a lot of fighting behind the scenes during the house invasion timeline. I need to see Jinman’s timeline!

Agreed. It would be out of character for both of them to express any more emotions than what was shown. You can see the relief in both their faces when they both realised the other had survived.

I was also expecting him to come save the day, abit like how Pasin came back. But I guess the ending we got provides a more mysterious ending, which isn’t as satisfying but still gratifying

I agree, episode 7 was a little drawn out. I think it was good that they explained why babylon left Jinman and Jian alone for 8 whole years, but I don’t think they needed to rehash the other scenes of how Honda died etc, we already kinda knew from previous episodes what was kinda going on during that time.

It’s left open ended, but pretty sure she’s not dead, if there is a season 2.

I agree, feels unfinished if Jingman finished off Bale and Babylon off camera. But I think they concluded it in this open ended way to leave the door open for season 2, but if season 2 doesn’t happen, it’s open ended enough for the audience to draw their own conclusions.
