I decided to check it out due to Lin Yu Shen, who was with Lusi, and he is quite badass here.

She looks really fierce. But I feel like the fabric on her hat could have been shorter for convenience xD It looks cool though.

Well I think that most of Jin Yongs male protagonists starts a bit "silly" and lose to the girl at the start. That being said I just watched Conodor Heroes with Hu Ge a long time ago but I remember his character being a bit weak at the beginning while his love interest tricked him etc.
I assume he was to shocked about the girl and not thinking it fair to use his martial skills on the beggars. Since he was decent 5 years ago he should definitively have gotten better by now.

Mango tv always have terrible English subs, which is one of the reasons I always drop their stuff even though the plot interest me. Wetv has it in certain regions but it is as bad there. So it depends on if you think the plot will be worth it.

I think it's been about 3 weeks now. But since there is an age gap with our leads I imagine they want to speed up the part where Sang Zhi is in high school. But I think that it is also common in c-dramas that they film stuff out of order as well.

I also thinks he is good. I was really silly first though because I didn't realize he was the teen ml xD I thought that lady Shengs kid was the ML and then I got really confused until I realized they just did a 13 year skip to then make another timeskip.

Well we can't all like the same thing. As Wu Lei said in an interview he hopes that his fans like his works, but if they don't no need to keep watching :) I love Lusi but I find it very hard to finish her modern romcoms for example just because I have a hard time with romance focused dramas.

There has not been any announcements so we can just hope that enough people request it so Netflix goes and buy it.

The ending is extremely unhappy which is why I have not watched it. The modern part 2 ends well though.
