Not a Chinese speaker but I imagine that viki is closer to the correct translation as it has more native English speakers doing the translation. But it is also a bit of making a sentence sound well in another language so maybe people write it differently.

Yeah it was really good :D The ending is a cliffhanger but they have announced that they will do a second season. The two girls had really nice chemistry as well.

LBY was really trying to seem approachable but other then that fake laugh in episode 10 I think he has not really been laughing since that incident in Gu city. So he is a bit out of practice lol.

I like LBY speech but I agree with SS on some of the things she said. We know for one that the mean girls will just hit her harder when he is not around. Another point is that they are both stubborn and determined people so compromising is hard for both of them. Shao Shang has relied on herself her whole life, so even though now she has someone on her side it is difficult for her to trust him and his intentions since they have not really spent a lot of time together.
I am looking forward to them growing as a couple and learning to trust and depend on each other :) Yishang fufu love <3

Ah well if you don't mind a short one I recommend A couple of mirrors which is GL :) A very short but nice story and fast progression.

Yes it is something that annoys me that netizens feel the need to nitpick on the actors voice. For me their own voice is always 1000000% better then a dubber simply because of the immersion. Are there some cases where the va is really good and actually fits the role? Yes but when you know what the actor sounds like it can still throw you off.

Making up new insults is to difficult for her.

I don't really have an opinion because her character is not important enough for me to think about xD She does not really do anything now anyhow compared to the first episodes.

The biggest difference I'd say is that this has a MUCH better script and a director that is actually invested in the project. I love wrtw but they are not really comparable due to this.

If you don't mind a lower budget I'd say that The Imperial Coroner is a good drama. It's more about crime solving but there are smart characters and not really any annoying mean girls in there. The leads communicate well and it is also a more slow burn drama :)

I think this is one of the few times both Lusi and her male lead dubs themselves. Iirc most of her partners is usually dubbed and sometimes she is as well. So it is very satisfying to watch :)

All the actors dubbed themselves here :) But this production also had good microphones on set so not everything needed to be done in the studio. It is usually the productions choice whether or not dub will be used.
I agree that Lusi has a very unique voice and I am really glad we can hear her real voice since I get really annoyed at all those high pitched super girly voice actors that are usually used when an actress is playing a younger character.

I like that Qiqi is spunky. I get annoyed at Wang Ling repeating herself though.

Part 1 did get a license for 28 episodes, so it is unclear if it will be a part of part 1 or 2.
