Yes it was a very emotional episode. First we got some laughs and then we got SS basically breaking LBYs heart. I was mad at her, even though I understand her way of thinking, especially when he said that he was really trying and that he also wanted to be a part of a family.
The flashbacks were really nice especially since it showed that they have actually not spent all that much time together just the two of them. I am really glad they aired ep 28 right away because I would have been REALLY sad if we had to wait one month for them to make up.

Well that is part of it. But the grandma does not really think any women are good enough for her sons. YuanYi is also very opinionated, independent and is not really willing to just please her mother in law. So I just think she dislikes YuanYi because of her personality.

I think that it was meant to be that both of them were thinking about their past encounters and when they talked to others about their "love interest". But I agree that it was not really clear in who was thinking what. Could just also be for the viewers ofc.
