Yes indeed! Part two started right after part 1 ending with 27 :)

The novel is from SS perspective and the drama has already added more scenes of the ML compared to the start of the novel. If you are only watching for the ML you would indeed feel there is not that much screen time at the start. As the leads get closer we will get more scenes, also the fact that his revenge journey will be more prominent later :)
This drama focuses on it's ensemble cast and not just the leads which is why there are so many extra characters as well.

For me the biggest concern with this IP is that ALP was not that well received in China, so why on earth would they make a sequel?

Think it might be since they started filming?

The emperor is a perfect example of a dad who has that one child that he really loves and worries about constantly xD

It's not. There are a few comedic moments but is a serious drama. There is one funny trailer and one serious.

In historical dramas most are actually young. They just don't say it. In tiger and rose the cp are both supposed to be 17 I think.

If we had needed to wait1 month with 27 ending like that I would not have been happy tbh. Because that would be one month of thinking how miserable and heartbroken LBY was after she told him she wanted him out of her life. Great episode though.

Yeah I know. But I feel it very farfetched that they come here and complain when Douban, a site they actually control, has merged the two "parts".

It's region based with LLTG on the tencent youtube channel I've noticed which is annoying xD I'm in Sweden and my region is not allowed to see the LLTG clips for some odd reason. So if I want to watch the bts on youtube or short clips I go to this, if I want it faster, or the fresh drama playlist after a few days when it updates with subs.

I am currently watching it and is on episode 12 :) I agree that it's not scary and the story might not be the most original and the villain no real new sort of character either. What I am liking most in this so far is the fact that there is not any romance at all so far. I feel that most kdramas, even if they are not mainly romance focused it usually end up happening anyway.

So for me this is quite refreshing in that aspect since I actually enjoy have a girl and a guy just working together well without them having a loveline taking over the plot.
Ratings are ofc very difficult to go by here, since there are more biased votes then votes that are really analyzed. Save me is indeed an excellent drama :) I hope you find another 10 somewhere.

Yeah I was also wondering who that might be. I feel like the Consort is not that mean, even though she might not be the nicest lady around. It is probably as you guessed it. I am really looking forward to SS and the Empress bond growing though and I like that fact that SS will try to "protect" the Empress.

Yes I agree but the staff say that it's not one season but two so there are separate pages. Even if it's aired right after one and another.

I just hope his ears were alright afterwards since she was shouting quite loudly :D But I really like that in all the bts you can see the affection they have for each other in their eyes. Such a happy LLTG family we got <3

I am going to survive by remembering that this will 99% have a happy ending :D Also by replaying all the sweet moments we will have soon.
