Yeah the whole cast really makes this a very special drama :) Instead of just focusing on the main leads romance we have so many more stories and personalities to explore.

I'm sorry you think this is weird. To me it's much more baffling that they keep letting the senior actress in their 30s play 16 year old kids. Being 23 is not old. Lusi easily looks young, even more with her expressions, and the styling. Do you think that they should have cast an 18 year old girl, or younger still, that has almost no experience to their name to play one of the lead roles in a S+ production? It's acting. Hiring underage kids is also much more tough for the production since there are a lot more rules. If you have a problem with Lusi I suggest you watch something else.

He thinks the should be singles together since he does not think highly of marriage. And then after a time he will swoop in and propose.

No one told the adults. I think LBY is not allowed to dish out punishment.

But during the speech the mom said it would have been an honor if it was with another daughter of the Cheng family I believe. And there aren't that many Cheng daughters.

She is an easy target due to her family not having a high rank and the fact that she is not behaving like all the "proper" girls.

I think LBY was angry because of the princess treatment towards SS and the fifth prince suggesting SS being his concubine was the last straw.

LBY uncle on the mothers side was a friend of the emperor so when they came back to the capital he wantee to help them. Since the dad remarried and the mother suffered from trauma I imagine the emperor wanted to help the family by taking LBY under his wing so his life could be easier.

So it's a family banquet but the girls and boys can't sit together? I thought it wouldn't matter since they are related. On a different note I really like how the palace is designed. Feels very different compared to most I've seen and not as whiny and glamoreous.

It will be fun to see more of them :) the consort seems like she just wants to live comfortably while the empress is more concerned about her family.

LBY you did well defending Niao Niao. I felt bad for him now that he finally did propose the Cheng parents had to ruin the moment. Instead of just saying the bad things about her daughter and saying she would not want SS herself if she was from another family she could have asked for time to consider the sudden propsal. And really saykng all that makes SS even more disliked once this spreads outside the palace. How can SS not suffer after her mom said this in front of so many? Some of it is true, but SS is not stupid and she can learn. Also only being 15 it's not like they would have to marry immidietly.

I found it really funny how suddenly there were so many guys behind them xD The armor can't be that quiet. Sneaky army he has LBY.

I have hope for the second princess and crown princess somce they did not seem interested in behaving like spoiled brats.

Soon our Ling Buyi will shock the whole palace proposing to Niao Niao xD I have looked forward to this very much since the preciew.

I know 🤭 But her character was so unimportant in WRTW so I did not pay to much attention to her. I think she is quite good at making funny faces here though.
