I think their episodes were reduced which is why it became like this. But not sure. On one had I think it's a good thing that it wasn't a big deal, on the other hand it would have been nice to see his face reacting and not just his hand clenching the wood.

I feel like this time since they kept a lot of her lines from the actual set we can also hear much more different nuances in her voice, plus little extra noises she did. I am so happy we have the OG voices.

Depends on what type of drama you like. This is more family oriented at the moment, compared to a palace politics show. The first 4 episode are a bit slow, and after that the pace is a little faster but still not what most would consider fast. Imo it's a good blend of humor, sadness, fighting etc in here. So I would say watch the first 8 episodes and then see if you like it or not. The first two episodes can be a bit misleading.

I was actually surprised as well that there did not seem to be any fan wars between or leads fans. It seems like Wu Lei has a lot of kind fans though compared to some of the traffic stars.
