If you watch episode 20s preview its all about LBY mourning his lost clan and the emperor telling him he did wrong. You don't see a single clip of SS in it.

The novel ends before they have kids.

If there had only been 27 episodes it would have indeed been much to slow xD I actually like this slow pace since it gives our characters a chance to grow at a much more realistic pace.

I think that is tomorrows episodes. Today LBY is going to go on his investigation and leave SS for the first time.

So the grandmothers brother was helping to steal military weapons from his work post, and he also embezzled money from the Ge fabric store. The mean second aunt is from the Ge family, so they were probably aware of what was happening. As the FL dislikes her aunt and grandmother she gladly turns him in to the ML.

So far we have seen three different ones! Hope we get even more.

The first 4 episodes are a bit slow so I would say continue to at least episode 8 :) Things heat up quite fast after the first 4.
