I found it really funny in the Yang Yang interview when he joked that Lusi was already a boy XD But I think that Lusi herself describe herself as one of the guys in an interview once. I believe she is quite easy going and a bit of a moodmaker.

Yes :) The original novel focus more on BFX rather then Lanxi. The author had nothing to do with this production so it is quite different. So far I am enjoying this very much as well, but the novel is really great as well and you get to see some stuff that are quite fun. So maybe after this has finished airing you will be interested in reading it and make your own comparison.

So Lanxi basically kills his whole family. There is no mention of any maids in the novel. We get to see BFX as princess before we even meet any of the Lanxi family. No sects are involved. There is just the 6 states fighting each other. BFX brother is dead and her father dies of an illness which is the reason for her to return home and take over her kingdom.

There are some stuff that is the same but it focus a lot less on Lanxi in the first part of the story. The imperial family is also almost never shown. There is sects fighting, instead there are just the different states fighting each other for superiority.

There are no sects in the novel so no clue.

I am bad because I tell myself not to check all the negative stuff coming up but sometimes I can't help myself and then I regret it XD But yes it does not matter what others think as you are the one watching you can decide what you like yourself. Also as a show gets millions of views there is always going to be a lot of different opinions.

Well Huang Chao does not know the real identify of either of the Feng xi. So even though he knows that HFX is strong he might not think he is a match for a prince.
I would not say he plotted against YWY but rather he took advantage of the plan and then changed it for his own benefit. He is very ambitious so he is quite headstrong.

I mean the difference is that HFX kills them off fast so he has faster fights.

No xD I mean King Yong, Lanxi dad, married the Dadong Emperors sister.

I am not sure why the author liked the last name Feng so much :) But yes most of them are not related as their last name is spelled with different characters. The king likes his 3rd son the most because he is smarter then the first brother and is also Bailis son from when she was officially in the palace. He dislikes Lanxi because his mother, the first queen, was the emperors sister and had higher status then him.

I sorta feel bad for Uncle De, the attendant of FC. He has basically raised him and yet feels like he cannot really help him as much as he wants because FC won't listen. I think that old man really cares for him.

Aaaah I see. I misunderstood xD I was like hmmmmmmmmmmmm. Don't hurt your brother FC. But Lanxi should really have taken BFX advice to talk to him.
