In the novel Xiyun becomes queen first. Lanxi is there. Then after repelling some invaders Lanxi goes home and Xiyun goes to him after a few months.

They go to Xiyun's home before they go to Lanxi's home in the novel.

So YWY family line never lives long, so HFX does not think that YWY should get to close to BFX because he is going to die soon anyway.

They have a marriage promise ceremony little more then halfway in which then gets interrupted. After that the war starts on a big scale so they do not have the actual marriage in the novel.

So BFX and HFX takes the imperial capital, but what they want is different. Lanxi wants to rule the world while BFX wants to live a carefree life for herself. So she decides to leave him. She comes back a few days later though and kidnaps him to be her husband. So Lanxi leaves the ruling of the world behind to be with his lady love. Huang Chao ends up being the next emperor.
As for the ML plot non of this stuff about his family is actually in the novel, we just see them for 1-4 chapters maybe. His other schemes are mostly in the novel though when it comes to getting more money.

There is yes. The reason for that happens towards the end of the novel. Nothing to do with his family that though.

Yes but his brothers does not really have a name in the novel if I remember correctly. But Lanxi does not like his family in the novel anyway, and he really does not like his dad.

He basically kills all his family XD We shall see how far they go in this series.
