i kept putting this off because of the reviews, but i finally watched it this day. and it's really good! you can tell it wasn't originally meant to be this lighthearted, or for this series to only have 10 episodes instead of 12. so the pacing definitely suffered as a result. but it was still a very charming series. bounprem are a natural fit together, their longtime partnership shines through during their scenes. it was also nice seeing barcode finally back on screen, it's been a while! i will definitely rewatch this again.
I was looking forward to this story of the 2nd season the most, but it didn't entirely live up to it. It was a nice, slow change from Beside the Sky, but I felt like it couldn't evenly spread out the pacing. They spend a lot of time on the first part of their arc, with Arthit's friend, that it kind of lost meaning for the second part with his mother. Then the last two episodes felt very rushed suddenly. NgernOat have insane chemistry that I felt like wasn't explored to its fullest potential, and that's a shame.
it had a bit of a rough start with multiple timejumps and flashbacks in the first 2 episodes. but it's really good, and peat in particular is SUPERB in this series. it's insane how easily he switches emotions and essentially personalities throughout each episode. it's toxic as heck, absolutely. but if you can look past that, this show is a must-watch.
can't believe i get to be alive in a world where we have TWO seasons of only friends. this season is another banger so far and the entire cast is incredible. i can't wait to see all the drama that will unfold.
so we're just gonna overlook the fact that jay ultimately was as awful as the rest of them? i feel like the story itself was decent, and i liked that they took risks by actually killing off so many characters. but this wasn't a crime show with bl, this was a bl show where there happened to be some crime as well. as shame, because the premise had so much potential, but they wasted it in the end. the cast was stellar tho, especially the supporting actors.
I figured Puth had something to do with it after last week's episode (that hooded figure outside Jay's room was 100% him), but after tonight, it's clear to me pufai isn't dead either. Pretty sure she's the second person standing next to puth watching champ and cher after they crashed their car. Maybe Puth is a relative of hers nobody knows about?
JJ seems to have accepted his fate as the designated filler for every weak joke and forced attempt at humor. One…
wow, i am the exact opposite, i guess. i think jj is very capable of carrying a show by himself, but gmmtv simply won't give him one, so they stick him (and aj) with all the prominent side characters. if only they hadn't gone their separate ways with pepper; him and jj had potential in their series.
i'm in love with this show. yes it's vague and feels like a fever dream, but i don't always need everything spelled out for me in the first episode. we're on this journey as much as botpleng is and it's interesting to see how things are playing out so far. forcebook's chemistry is still impeccable, and i'm happy to see them able to showcase some heavier work for a change. it's okay if this is not your cup of tea, but that doesn't automatically make it bad. there have been some very popular shows that i personally couldn't get into, but i can still admit those were good shows.
okay i have to be very honest; i've never been a big fan of pondphuwin and their series. that's not me throwing shade; sometimes you just don't click with certain actors. but this series is changing my mind about them. it's as funny as the trailer and social media promised it was, and pond seems to be born for this role! he's absolutely perfect as khun thee and i can't stop laughing. really hope this show will keep this up.
this was a really good, solid first episode! love the set up for the storyline, and joongdunk are excellent together as always. i can't wait for the rest of the series!
To everyone in the comments who are confused by the first episode; it's supposed to feel like a fever dream. We're following this story mostly through Botphleng's pov, so we're experiencing everything the way he is; confused and constantly feeling like he's missing vital pieces of information. Stick with it, I promise you it will be worth it! (and if you're too impatient; read the novel, it will definitely explain a things you might not want to wait for).
i've been looking forward to this show ever since we got the pilot trailer way back when. then it was crickets for months and i didn't think we'd ever get it. then finally, 8 weeks ago, it began airing its first episode. that one was a bit slow, but it really picked up the pace after that. it's not the best bl i've ever seen, and it definitely left open some plotholes. but it was different in its storyline, and i ultimately liked what they did with it. phanaping were definitely the main attraction for me, and i hope to see 2jdew in another series next year!
2jdew have really managed to elevate this series for me. they have such a wonderful chemistry, even if the script doesn't always allow it for them. i really hope to see them in their own series soon!
i really hope they'll start filming soon. dmd has been treating maxnat like an afterthought ever since naughty babe, and i fear they might give up on them after this series.
i swear i have rarely hated a character as much as i hate pin. the parents are all easy; they're awful people and you're supposed to hate them. but pin? i think the writers actually mean for us to feel sorry for her. and in a way, i did for the first few episodes. she didn't know what was going on, and she was just this naive young woman, thinking she would get a fairytale life. but after she found out, she became a horrid, despicable person, stuck in her woe-is-me phase. i have yet to watch the final episode, but i doubt anything in there could suddenly make me like her again.
i'm growing frustrated with this series, to be honest. there's no real progress or development. the siblings keep framing each other while father doesn't care. pheem keeps manipulating than, and than keeps believing him. we keep going around in circles and we're already halfway through. at this point, my main focus is actually chet and park.
i'm actually really enjoying this show. it's not by any means good, but it's entertaining. my only problem is that i love the 2nd couple way more, and it already seems after yesterday's episode, i like the 3rd couple more than the main as well lol.

atp, i'm just happy to have max back on my screen, i've missed him.
