i agree! i'm glad barcode had jeff to rely on in kinnporsche, because jeff really took him under his wing and made sure he was safe, and didn't do anything that wasn't appropriate. jeff had that kind of pull (along with mileapo) due to his age, whereas barcode didn't have that. i hope the same applies with this series.

Between Us takes place at the same time Until We Meet Again did, so UWMA is deanpharm's story, with winteam's story taking place in the background (hence why it might seem a bit confusing during the UWMA era), and Between Us is winteam's story, with deanpharm taking place in the background. So both stories/couples take place at the same time, but switch perspectives depending on which show you're watching. You don't have to watch UWMA in order to understand Between Us, but you *are* missing out on a beautiful bl ;)
the storytelling and editing wasn't always steady, but ultimately i really loved this show. it was so beautiful and maxnat have such incredible and palpable chemistry. i will miss this show!
today's episode was really well done, and i loved watching taikram's story of the second world. it was so lovely watching their romance unfold. maxnat are magical together.
episode 4 was such an improvement over last week! it felt much more cohesive, like it was all part of the storyline. nat was really good this episode, and max can convey so much emotion with just his eyes alone. i'm loving this series so far and i'm excited about next week's episode!
I was pleasantly surprised with the first two episodes. It felt a little disjointed sometimes, but I understand they need to establish one world and its characters first, before jumping to the next. Nat has wonderful chemistry with Max and Gun, although I will say his chemistry with Max is more natural. I love how Max gets to flex his acting chops a bit more, taking on two entirely different roles. I'm looking forward to the next episode!

james has decided to pull out of the show in order to focus on his singing and dancing career. there aren't any updates yet if he will stay with domundi, but he won't star in Love Upon A Time anymore with Net.
