I used to think it's predictable too. Why else was that particular character and his family got that much focus…
It did encourage me before watching, but when I read it after those two eps it felt like a spoiler, so I don't know if it counts, especially that they get more screen time only in a few places. Generally the balance here was odd.
So, it's up to you :) Nobody else mentioned it so I guess it's fine, it didn't ruin anything.

It's weird but two eps in, you comment felt like a spoiler, then 4th ep kept attention till the last part when you comment again was solving the case, but still I found the reveal very interesting.
The second lead guy gets the girl, this might be the best example for that. If this was a betting game the odds…
Reading those comments makes the ending being more justified. The only time he showed his emotions towards Sakura was the last ep. Throughout the whole drama he was actually quite cold with her just enjoying the music part that made him feel younger and remained about Haruna. Natsuki was jealous because she realized she will be always a sister for him through the relation he had with Sakura (using the Haruno song). I think she asked him about his feelings for her feeling better and the admitted because of being drunk. I believe he felt obliged to Sakura for letting him back into music and wanted to keep that special bond. The fact that he was so emotional the last ep was because he realized that Sakura meant more for him, career/live fulfillment-wise than he was for her - an unrequited love that just gave her passion for something.
plot-wise everything is explained so you don't need to. But if you want to watch the rest later there are some spoilers for the drama and first movie here.
I am used to this kind of movies but this one is totally on a different level. I just cant believe they shown…
Those scenes were sooo needed. I'm not fun of those, but whiteout them there would be something missing from the movie. And they were pretty much amazing including the incredible difference between the sex scene with Taeko (?) which was just another proof of their sick relationship.
But I thought it would be more creepy, nevertheless it was intense.
I wish I was capable enough to write an argumentative review so that push away those that does not appreciate this kind of movies as it looks that your prophecy will be fulfilled (Elena's review wtf?)
and, yes, Nikaido after this is absolutely on top. Somebody said she looks like Miyazaki (sometimes) and she might achieve her level eventually.
Can someone explain to me how the movie and show are related? It sounds interesting, but I am a bit confused.
Have you seen those two already? I don't really know, but judging from the dates the movie seems to be like introduction (?) to the series. Since it aired a day before the drama.
