Yes. Yan Lan still remain the most epic wrongness of a doctor portrayal i’d ever seen so far in cdramaland. Up to the point that i seem to have problem with the FL in her dramas, not just her character in here unfortunately

Yes. I’ve watched the drama fully last night on dailymotion (with questionable subtitle, but well, years of watching CDrama helps lol) and it was well done for such a short drama. The ML is smokin hot and both the ML and FL had such a good chemistry. Would love to see the ML in mainstream long drama in the future!
oh forgot another pet peeves of mine! What's wrong with villains asking XFF/JL to imagine being in their shoes when trying to defend their wrongdoings?? I mean, the heck were they thinking, for example, Ji Shuran's "I will not have done this to you if you didn't come back etc", I mean, oh sureeeee lets banish you to be beaten off at a faraway convent, and don't expect me to come back and claimed revenge? Or Shen Yurong's "please pity me, I still love you so much despite me slapping the heck out of your head with a shovel and burying you alive after sullying your name and innocence", I mean, boyyyyy just accept your fate and expect an avenging ghost already! Wanning's "you will do the same thing if you are in my shoes" like the heck you are talking about, I don't see XFF going around asking a man to kill his wife and acting all psycho slapping/humiliating the man you claimed you love, and then caressing him in bed like a server boy. Sorry to interrupt (after so long lol!) but i was tempted to come and complaint as well when i read your comment about how FL doesnt show a smidge of remorse. When i was watching the 30/31st episodes, i realised that every time CL tried to comfort LN after he came back from the almost death, was to talk about how sad she was and how will she gonna be able to move on if LN didnt make it bla3. Nothing whatsoever about how he lost 5 of his brother figures who protected him to death so that he can live (ok fine, maybe she didnt know what they did to protect him during the battle). Everytime LN poured his tears talking about his brothers, she went to mention how sad she was, and how the tragedy affected her. I was so annoyed at the writing at that point of time. Haha
Completely agrees with you on XL and TSJ! I cant get over how abusive and asshole XL is to XY at times, even though he did sacrifice for her without her knowing or how much he loves her secretly. But yes, he is how he is, maybe due to his past so i guess take it or leave it.
Jing’s kindness is his weakness, but also his strength as well and I can sympathise how hard for him to break his engagement to Fangfeng Yiying or to quit being the Tushan’s chief. He has responsibilities, and it’s not that heroic to just quit it all and basically severing ties to his families. I like that despite him understanding that he cant have XY while he’s still engaged to FFYY, he still cannot help but wanting her. I find that so sweet. Lol

So far, all dramas involving firemen are quite disappointing. This one, and the one with allen ren (just saw a few episodes and cannot go on). Hopefully the third one is the lucky charm! Looking forward to the firemen drama with Yang Yang as the ML. Hopefully it is not a third disappointment!
