An honest review from 3 years ago. Lol
*putting this in review tab so that it was all in one place for me
If it wasnt for simon, i dont think i can finish watching this drama at all.
The plot is all over the place. Being hailed as a story about a firefighter and a doctor, the firefighting scenes are not that superbly done, the rescue mission is simplistic and non-adrenaline induced, and the medical scenes are at best, laughable. *facepalmed
I have issues with basically almost all rescue missions that involves the FL. lol. In what universe is the plan for rescue is decided by the (emotional, hard-headed) doctor on scene? Doctors are medical supports. We treat patients who are already rescued from scenes (and sometimes gives ADVICE), not directed the rescue mission! Thats the responsibility of the head firefighter/rescuer or the officer/police in charge. And dont even get me mention about all the medical procedures! They botched it to the very last details! π€¦πΌββοΈ And please, why must the FL almost faint every time she finished rescuing/doing noble acts?! Too drunk on adrenaline? ππ
And yes, i agree on what others said about it being pointless including the arch about the drug corruption thingy. I understand if this is a police/military subplot, but you are trying to sell a firefighter/rescuer story here, please focus and do your thing! π
Sorry to say, the FL character/actress really annoyed me to the end. As a doctor, she does not only act overly emotional at times, no empathy (the needle phobia thingy), the way she portrays the profession sometimes come across as embarrassing the profession. Itβs hard to like the FL imho.
