I would hate this type of ending. It makes no sense to put someone who is clearly not fit for the throne in that position. It also defeats the whole purpose. It makes no sense that someone liks FSG or even FYX, would settle for a life like that. Maybe they'll do what his mother did, once in a while or after a war, stay there.

Second prince, from what we have seen so far, actually likes his brother. And it seems like FSG, despite his rivalry with the Empress and the Zhuang family, cares for his brother. Something the Empress refuses to see.

I disagree with you. I don't think the emperor hates FSG. I think he supports him behind the scenes. If FSG always relies on daddy to protect him, then he will never be a good emperor. He needs to always be one step ahead of everyone.

As far as the Second prince, you're right. PM Zhaung and the Empress (especially her) want the second prince to be Emperor.

I wonder if we'll get the cliche "the couple who is used to the war and bloodbath retire and live in a quiet place". I want FSG to be named crown prince and for her to be crown princess.

Maybe thats why the emperor issued the decree to never mention her again. Maybe that was his way of protecting her and giving her his freedom.

Just to clarify, I wasn’t taking it personally — I was only explaining why it could be misread. If anything, you’re the one who decided to take my clarification personally and escalate it.

But if you’ve scrolled through drama comment sections, you’d know that people also talk about the actual actors, not just the characters, and they often use characters’ and actors’/actresses’ names interchangeably — so considering your comment was very ambiguous, it’s fair that people interpreted it either way.
