Considering the speed of things in the last few episodes, especially as of episode 20, I doubt those are the only villains. There's someone bigger in the shadows or else I don't see how they will extend this for 15+ episodes.

I agree with you. They are both bloody people, used to war and power. I don't see them retiring to a secluded place. It would not fit their characters. Plus, neither of them have expressed wanting that type of life. They are both made for the throne.
