I was going to drop this show after ep1 but some user suggested me to continue so I did. I should have dropped the show, at around ep 5 they provide the reason why he is being like this but it is still not justifyable imo. I hated every sec ML was on screen. He keeps on doing his actics till the end of show.

If it was irl no one would put up with his sh*t lol. This show has gained popularity for idk what reason. It is one of my fav genre and the plot is alright too except the ML. None of the characters were likeable which is pretty rare for a kdrama.

Why'd anyone help someone who isn't nice to them and actively disrespect their work? He actively talks sh*t about their work; I don't think anyone would find it amusing when someone does that. Admitting that he is jealous does not mean he can be mean to them lol. They all don't because that's what normal humans do; they don't go out and make a mess of someone's day. He is 40 but acts like a child.

Probably it's the only kdrama where I didn't find anyone interesting or likeable.

He doesn't say behind their back?? He has said this multiple times that he likes talking sh*t behind people's back. They can't criticize about his craft because he hasn't produced any; the way he treats people is a reflection of how others treat him.

Apart from his older brother no one in the show is likeable tbh. They don't remove him because he refuse to take a hint. They all use each others stories, that's what writers do as mentioned multiple times in the drama.

It's not about criticizing but the way he protrays his jealously.

I am not saying his friends are any better; it's a cause and effect situation. If someone is annoying and downright tries to break the group with unncessaey comments, don't you think people would talk about them or just sit and take it.

Can you elaboarte why he acts like that? We feel jealous and envious of others but no one actually says it out loud and pray for their downfall; especially when you are friends with them for 2 decades.

Just because he couldn't debut does not give him the pass to be rude to others.

Tbh annoying friend is an understatement for DM.

I was going to drop this drama after the first ep because the ML was insufferable. The drama turned out to be alright and the character of DM was somewhat bearable.

He was pathetic to his friends from the start (not that they were any better); unnecessarily harsh with them. No one would like or be friends with DM irl.

I am on episode 3 and the ML is a self centered pos. Does it get better? I started this drama with very high expectations.

Yes, I agree. There was no need to use Bible like it is not a horror genre or something. I feel it is very common nowadays to disrespect christianity and get away with it. Hollywood does it way often; I watched Derry girls and it had a Mother Mary scene which made me very uncomfortable. I don't follow christianity but we keep Mother Mary in high regards.

Could not understand how did the first guy died as nari had already made a wish, so the timer of the otaku guy should stop but it was running. Technically he should be killed because of nari's wish and not his wish timer

The premise was good but it was a pain to complete the show.

Onion soup had my expectations up but unfortuanely the rest of the episodes did not deliver.
