I'm struggling so bad with this one.

This was outstanding. It tells a heartbreaking but honest story. It shows what really is happening in parts of the world right now. The things some people really are having to suffer through. It touches on a subject that I have never seen shown in a bl. At least not to this extent, and they did not sugar coat it. I appreciate what they did here. This felt real to me, not like a ficticious story playing out on screen with teams of people and costumes and make up and cameras and actors. This is real life for some people and they honored their struggle very well with this series.


Everyone who was a part of telling this story and giving us this complete picture deserves a standing ovation. Others have said this in the comments and I didn't think I was going to feel so strongly about this but I do. This for me, is hands down the best bl I have seen of 2024.

Sigh….this started out so good!!! Then I was expecting some sort of....I don't know......."time thing" that never came. I am so disappointed with how this ultimately played out. Soooooo disappointed right now as the credits roll.

Yes, I am aware of that. The reason I asked this question in the first place is because I began watching it on IQIYI and while it was playing , came here to mark it as “currently watching.” That’s it. What I didnt realize until I came here to mark it was that there are apparently 2 versions. So I backed out of the show, went to the LGBTQ+ dramas list in IQIYI since in the past I have seen both the standard version of shows and uncut versions available in the app if there are 2 versions. Even when its an uncut version, I’ve always scene it labeled as such on IQIYI. I did not see any other version on IQIYI so I did a Google search for the uncut version and it came up as available on Dailymotion. So I noticed the lengths of the videos matched, I went to a “sexual scene” and they matched, I played the first 2 episodes at the same time on two devices and they were the exact same. I decided there must only be one version available right now which is why I made it through 7 episodes before even posting my question here. The show started out good but then came the historical back story and the hospital and the cave and another spicy scene that again, did not seem spicy so was that because it was cut? “Is this show feeling chopped and senseless, is there a lack of chemistry to me right now because this is not the uncut version that apparently really does exist after all?” Key parts of the story were introduced then left behind and it made no sense to me so sure maybe there is a different uncut version available that tells a more complete story. That was my thinking when I posed my question here. I went through a two episode comparison on two platforms before I came here to find out if there really are two versions of this show available. You’re response from 5 days ago cleared that up. I’m not going to sit through 2 complete episodes at one time if all I care about is the intimate content and found it insulting that that seemed to be the assumption by someone who did not even try to answer my question. I am not new to BLs its been 99.9 % of what I watch since accidentally stumbling upon their glorious existence almost 3 years ago. With that said, I only watch one show at a time and I strictly binge watch. I never watch anything when its airing because I can’t stand waiting a week between episodes so I typically do not get to it until its been out for a few months and most of the die hard multi show at a time watchers have already seen it. I wasn’t aware of 2 versions until I came to log it as my “current watch”. When I logged it as a “plan to watch” there was only one version listed as far as I can remember but that was a while ago.

It's a moot point anyway as I finished this up yesterday and moved on to my next binge. Your comment came off like a lecture to me. "I can't answer your question because I don't actually know, but while I'm at it, let me take it upon myself to inform you that NC scenes are not the only scenes cut in an uncut version." That very much rubbed me the wrong way. In any case, it's water under the BL bridge. Have a good day and happy watching.

It seems you missed the part repeatedly where I stated I watched 2 full episodes and they were the exact same yet your only response to me was that "sometimes more than just the NC scenes are cut." With regards to bls, usually a huge indicator of a cut bl vs a non cut bl is the editing of the NC content and the length of the episodes, both of which I mentioned. That certainly seems to suggest that you are assuming I only care about the NC scenes since that is the only thing you responded to me about. Which again, did not answer my question at all but instead seem to be serving up some low key lecture. Which is why we are where we seem to be with this conversation.

Right and I am clarifying my reasons for asking as your response to me seems to imply that you assume the only reason I’m asking is for the NC content. As indicated by the fact that you couldn't really answer my question but felt the need to only tell me that more than just the NC scenes can be cut.

And to clarify, I always prefer to watch the uncut version of any series if one is available over a cut version because I want a complete series as it was originally intended to be seen. As soon as I saw there were two versions of this listed on here I began checking to make sure I am watching the uncut version because that is always going to be my preference for anything I watch.

Case in point, I would have welcomed the extra hours it would have added to the series to cover more about the past that was introduced at the beginning but some how got almost completely left behind. I am an “Uncut”/“Director’s” preferred kinda gal.☺️

Right, I get that but as I said in my original comment, I compared the length of rhe episodes on IQIYI which is not marked as Uncut with the episode length of the episodes on Dailymotion, which are marked as uncut and the video length is the same. I also played the first two episodes at the exact same time on my tv (IQIYI) and on Dailymotion (my cellphone) and they were the exact same. Which is why I came on here to ask if there really is an uncut version because both uncut and non labeled appear the same. On IQIYI and Dailymoiin. Typically it’s the NC scenes and other scenes as well but yes, typically it is the NC scenes that have been toned down to make them more appropriate for anyone and because the NC scenes didn't seem particularly NC, except maybe the paint scene, that led me here to ask if what I am seeing on Dailymotion and what I’m seeing on IQIYI are in fact the only version available since one is labeled uncut and the other is not but they seem completely the same after watching the first two episodes at the same time.

What point would that be exactly? That you have a problem with all the western world because of a few negative reviews made about a fictitious tv series? It looks like you’re proving far more about yourself than the Western side of the planet. It’s quite adorable really. I mean, I certainly would never generalize an entire chunk of the planet as annoying simply because of you.☺️

I am so sad at the waste of talent and opportunity and 95% of the kissing. Why were they directed to kiss with closed mouthes and pursed lips?? It was like looking at side profiles of people drinking from 20 Oz beverage bottles. Except for that ONE scene.

I am finishing up this series right now and I just watched that scene and OMG you are so right!! That is so ridiculously bad, it's hilarious!🤣🤣🤣

Can you please clarify…. Is it only people from the west that are giving this negative reviews? Interesting how you lump all Western viewers together. Almost like you allow your apparent disdain for the West to cloud any logic you might possess and that's a crying shame.🫤

I mean I don’t see anything particularly spicy or anything that seems to have been cut so I just find it funny the series is "uncut". I don't see what there would be to cut if what I am watching is the uncut version lol. In any case, thanks for the clarification. 😊

Quick question, I am midway through episode 7 and I'm watching this on The IQIYI app but have also gone to Dailymotion. My question is, is there an "Uncut" version because IQIYI doesn't have it labeled as Uncut on the App but the episodes are labeled as Uncut On Dailymotion but when comparing them, the episodes are the exact same. I'm trying to figure out where the "Uncut" is coming from because so far none of the scenes are particularly spicy like one would expect to see I an "Uncut version. Am I missing something? Aside from that curiosity, I am rather enjoy the series as a whole.
