I had to skip her scenes because of the hypocrisy. Sworn sisters with FL when both ML and FL are literally the same (in terms of savagery). And she continues sharing so much info knowing that the FL was shot by someone closest to her smh

I know this is a fictional drama, however, I may drop after watching episode 15. I was sickened by how they glossed over the attempted r**e scene. And I know victims respond differently but the writer clearly made this horrible assault a catapult for the ML and FL rekindling their relationship. I don’t see how it was necessary for her traumatic experience to be placed on the back burner immediately after she realized he came to the “jail.” I was waiting for the ML, officers, someone to offer comfort and aid. She clearly needs to be treated medically after being assaulted. Again I know this is fiction but personally I just find it difficult to continue with the story.

The bromance in “My Roommate is a Detective” is truly one of the best bromance in a C-drama (that I’ve seen).

Is Live on a drama teens can watch? Looking for something to watch with my daughter. American PG-13 is sometimes nearly rated R lol. But on Viki it’s rated PG-13.

Ended up watching Ancient Detective after watching My Roommate is a Detective. Had all the same tropes I love (bromance, mystery, etc etc). Thanks for the recommendation! It’s on my list now :)

Thanks! It’s been on my watchlist for a little. Saw a review that it gave heavy historical vibes more than fantasy so I put it on hold.

The pace is not really an issue for me but I do wish there was more action. The first episode was so impressionable. I was anticipating a blend of fantasy and action. Does anyone have any recommendations for kdramas with fantasy-action-romance? Right now I’m watching a few c-dramas with the genres but I’m hoping to find a few k-dramas too.

Any recommendations to similar c-dramas (romance doesn’t have to be center)?

How can not one employee, reporter, etc. (other then Moo Hak, her ex, and “brother”) show absolutely no empathy after seeing her be assaulted on video. Not only that, not one of them asked her how she’s doing afterwards. They’re all simply overjoyed by the publicity smh. I’m so disgusted but I love the leads so I’m hoping I won’t encounter something like this again in future episodes
