short, sweet, and funny drama. good filler between dramas. and had a bit more of a mature side than most school dramas, which i liked. favorite character hands down was jihoon, he was so adorable i hope to see him cast in more dramas soon
this movie was everything i thought it'd be. full of action, cussing, and badass moments. haha if you were disappointed in bad guys s2 (like i was) give this one a watch. has MDS & KMY so think of it as a bad guys alternate universe. MDS & KMY were phenomenal in this. will definitely rewatch. 9.5/10
haven't watched the drama yet but i really enjoyed this movie. actors did a great job, music was good, storyline was good as well just seemed a bit rushed at times but i would definitely rewatch this one. 8/10
Same here, without him in Abyss I most likely wouldn't have finished it. He played his character so well! Can't wait to see more of him, hee hee I especially hope he gets darker roles... they definitely suit him. Speaking of suits... he looks so handsome in that grey one wow
Ikr! It's my first time feeling that her character is soo realistic and relatable at the same time. Her quotes…
LOL I must have laughed so hard in that scene I didn't notice the CGI! hahahha. my gosh though the cinematography in this drama! you could literally screenshot every scene and it would be gorgeous. even just when they ate at the cafes. Yes I really disliked Shui Jing, I did feel bad for her in the end bc he did love her but not enough to leave his fiance... and his fiance! I felt SO bad for her! I don't understand what the big deal was with him lol they both could have found better. But at the same time, I also enjoyed how every girl in the drama had a different sort of ending with their SO. So realistic. They gave us a girl who loved her fiance more than anything but he didn't love her, a girl who kept going back to a guy who's done nothing but make her cry, a girl who has liked the same guy since high school but never told anyone a word about it, a girl who fell in love with a boy who changed and her and made her chase her dreams... all different girls but with different approaches to love. Loved it. Hahahhaa now that I'm typing this I'm dying to rewatch too! Lol I think I'll make it a prize for myself after I finish studying for a test I'm taking soon. So great talking to someone about this great drama!

oh my gosh yes! rofl also really loved that scene where they kissed, and ended up falling asleep outside looking at the sunrise and he was sleeping on her shoulder xD and he woke up looking startled and she was so calm. that part made me laugh so hard. and the way she took care of her friends! loved how she stated openly in the beginning that Shui Jing wasnt really a friend so she didnt understand why she kept visiting her. and to Bai Li, she did anything she asked. i was so wowed by her when bai li figured out that older guy was using her, and she didn't run after her friend in a panic, she calmly stayed back to ask this guy why did it. i loved that she had confidence in bai li that she would be able to get herself home alright and knew she needed time alone. you're totally right! Luo Zhi is a queen.

same here! sometimes I feel not "girly enough" bc I'm not very good at expressing emotion and have been told I'm too honest. But luo zhi did it all with such feminine grace. lol felt like writing down everything she said. oh my gosh like that one time when she called sheng huainan out on multiple things? and when she also told him at one point she also needs to respect herself. i was ready to hug her.
Just finished binge watching this in 3 days. 9.5/10 from me. What a freaking gem of a drama. So realistic, so beautiful. And our FL??? My absolute favorite in the show. Other dramas need to take notes on how to write a truly strong, intelligent, FL! Luo Zhi is my favorite female characters of all time now. Haha and with this drama, it’s now my 103rd completed drama and she beat them all. I cannot wait to rewatch this drama when I need some uplifting in my life
Worst thing about this drama is when it ended. One of those. Don't know what I'm going to watch now to fill this void :( lol but finished it in 6 days (i suggest watching on kissasian cause other sites cut the episodes). while i didn't like any of the female characters in this drama from beginning to end, it was the male characters that i absolutely adored. and made this worth watching. lee mong ryong's dad was such a kind, sweet man (lol most of the time), you could never find a more loyal friend than ji hyuk even if you looked for a thousand years, and last but not least my precious lee mong ryong!! so handsome, so charismatic, so unique, and that smile! oh boy. he had me laughing so hard at times, and when he cried oh man my heart sure felt that. one of my favorite characters of all time without a doubt. now, the second leads in this are absolutely unbearable but take them with a grain of salt. it's worth enduring them and FL's constant snarl just to watch more of lee mong ryong. and holy crap the OSTs in this drama!!! 10/10. they're amazing. haven't been able to stop listening to them on repeat. and a little side note- how come friendships aren't as genuine anymore like the one between mong ryong, ji jyuk, dan hee, and choon hyang? it looked so real so authentic so realistic. that's the way friends should be after knowing each other so long. ah! and there's little skits in the end of every episode, don't skip them they're hilarious lol. anyways sorry this got so long but if you're hesitating starting this, give it a shot! so underrated.
I like the type of characters Ha Ji Won chooses but I just hate her as an actor. For some reason, her intonation…
oh my gosh. me too!! i finished oh my ghostess recently and after looking at where else i've seen jo jung suk i realized he was the guard!! he and his princess made that drama bearable. i remember even skipping to only their scenes in some episodes. after that im such a sucker for any plots with a girl who falls in love with her guard xD oh man! then i doubt ill be able to get through it either haha

OH MY GOSH! I thought I was the only one! I like the roles she chooses but cannot stand the way she talks! Couldn't make it through secret garden and barely managed to get through K2H. Tried a movie she was in too.. super cool role I remember she was an assassin but wasn't able to make it past 20 minutes. Have you watched Empress Ki? I've always wanted to watch it bc of how much everyone seems to love it but im scared I won't be able to get through it bc of her...
I wish we could have gotten an explanation from Seo Jiwook. His character really intrigued me. He was not lacking in any way; mentally, physically, or even by status. He had everything and got away from Oh Yeong Cheol so WHY did he become his accomplice and end up becoming the person he tried so hard to get away from??? Blackmail from OYC? Nah I think SJW could have outsmarted or killed him if he really wanted to so why? He just seemed too smart to become oyc’s accomplice. Also, at what point did he go from victim to murderer? What was his breaking point? I was hoping we would get more about him in the last few eps... definitely would have traded the romance scenes for that. They just seemed a bit too bright and out place I mean they had been chasing this serial killer since the beginning and he’s mad and not caught and that’s when it’s time to relax and have a date out in the open?? Don’t get me wrong they were cute and had chemistry but just didn’t fit the mood imo. Also wish Cha Min came back with his original face not that I don’t doubt Se Yeon truly loved him but still I would have liked to see it. And uh wtf? Why was SJW’s adoptive judge father not in handcuffs or anything?? He literally confessed to killing his wife and making his son brain dead to all of South Korea.
Came across this drama when I found one of the songs used for it on YouTube and when I saw even ppl that have never watched an Asian drama before said they love the show I knew I needed to watch it. lol but now i know I should watch it asap definitely my type of show. (Skimmed only the top to avoid spoilers haha)
Loved it! Don’t hesitate to watch if you’re debating. PHS and HJM did a great job always loved them as actors but watching them together was such a pleasure
Just finished binge-watching this drama in 3 days. Absolutely loved it. A hidden gem for me. Not for people who want a faced-past romance. my favorite part about it was that it was about real people. no crazy plots twists or fight for power or scheming women just people falling in/out of love while learning to accepting their current state in life. the passion and chemistry between the leads was also phenomenal. when they fought it reminded me what real acting should look like.... only dislike was the music. it wasn't great but not horrible either. i can see myself definitely rewatching in the future. 8.5/10
