I could sense their chemistry right from the moment their eyes met at the airport. Both the leads really did convey a lot of emotions through their eyes n micro expression.

The drama is definitely a masterpiece. It has everything a romance drama should have. The bgm n osts were so sooo good. N they truly captured a lot of amazing scenes. A good romance doesn't have to have too many kiss scenes or skinship but the way the actors would look at eo in the scenes were so damn awesome. Each an every scene was exactly right out of the novel.
Yes I agree with u on that u can definitely not like a show but u can't just bully the actors r the ppl who like that show.
A lot of haters r trying to mislead the ppl who haven't watched the drama yet by saying that the ratings r too high or it is overhyped. BUT THIS IS A LIE.
If anything this drama is underrated. It was sabotaged in all way possible. No promotions, reducing eps at last moment n some haters cyber bullying the actors(especially Esther). So give it a try if u like great chemistry with great acting, heart wrenching storyline n some action without the unnecessary interference of side characters.
I really don't get it y the haters constantly insist on making derogatory remarks to uplift their fav. This is really not needed when u can support ur fav peacefully but no u guys(haters) always resort to such cheap tricks. I know it is not possible to like every actor even I don't like everyone I just like an actor if they deliver a good work but if I dont enjoy a show then I simply just stop watching that particular show instead of bullying the actors by demeaning their hardwork.

Yes same here Esther was so cute in this drama then when needed she delivered the crying scenes flawlessly. She gets this massive hate and they always try to sabotage her works. They r so jobless.

Yes I agree with u on this. In the novel I understood y JM's mother disliked her husband(JM's father) but that was not Zhao's fault in any way. Moreover he was just an unlucky minor. He got mistreated by JM's mother so much.

As someone who has already read the novel I can tell the scenes in the drama were as if straight out of the novel. All their moments were so intense.
I read a comment under 1 youtube short that it is a drama that makes u wanna believe in love again. This person is so right.
My only complaint is they should have made this at least 32 eps.
A drama that include such acting n story definitely deserves much more application imho
