Is this gonna be censored or are we gonna see our couple ??As I remember this is the first un-censored bl series…
Actually it was never uncensored completely to begin with. since it's made in china, it was always under the rules and regulations of their censorship. but it's evident from the episodes that were released that the show tried to stay faithful to the novel as much as it was possible. so the romance IS there but it's not presented in the form of explicit scenes and love confessions. Now with wowow and what they're airing, it seems that their version is different from the original show since some scenes were missing from the 8 old episodes but we can't say for sure why that is or what is happening with the new episodes that we've never seen. a lot of people seem to be suggesting that any novel scene that's not in the episodes was cut due to this buuutt I'm not so sure. I dont think there is a sure way to know what was cut vs what simply isnt included in the drama, IF there are more cut scenes in future eps and why.
can anyone tell me the approx age difference between the two male lead characters. the actor who plays young Pei…
from what I've heard the child actor just looks younger but fei du in the flashback is 14 so at the start of the show he's 21 while lwz is 28/29, the age difference is around 7 years.
I'm not sure, I think it depends on what youku was willing to sell. wowow might have wanted the original version…
yeah, all of it seems very unclear. I dont think the situation will ever be properly explained which is very frustrating to me but what can you do... I'd eve ask why the edits were at all necessary if the popular theory about the first banning was true? Why not just fix the scene with the kpop idol's photo and air it again, wouldnt that fix the problem? And now we are /assuming/ that the reason for the missing scene in ep 6 is new edits but again who even knows. We dont even know how far do these edits go ☹️ I think what I want to do now is wait and see how the rest of the eps turn out. So far they've a very good job - in my personal opinion - in sticking almost perfectly to the novel in portraying the plot and zhoudu's relationship so if the next episodes show a significant departure from that, then I'd say that's stronger evidence for edits being done to the whole show.
I think it doesn't really matter who re-edited it, Youku or WOWOW. The real question is why WOWOW is airing this…
I'm not sure, I think it depends on what youku was willing to sell. wowow might have wanted the original version but if youku didnt want to give it, then what else can they do - either get nothing or accept whatever version they were being offered? that's even assuming wowow was the first to reach out and it wasnt youku just being like hey, here's this show we have, do you want to air it
people are speculating that the reason for the missing scenes in the jp version is because the jitd team did new edits after the show was originally banned and then they sold that edited version to wowow. of course, there's no way to know for sure either way so sadly, we're stuck in the dark again
Also episode 9 is on 4th March please someone fix the timer
do you mean 4th of april? the first two episodes aired on 7th march so if they keep to this schedule, episode 9 will come out on april 4th. the timer isnt wrong.
As far as I understand from the new schedule of wowow ... They are going to air 2 episodes per day ... I don't…
dunno, I've seen their account on twitter say two episodes per week, not per day? I believe they released the schedule for april as well. If it's two episodes every day they'll finished by the end of march.
mmm I'd say it's not really rivals in love falling for each other, it might seem that way at first but idk if…
mmm so for tao ran, he didnt say anything at first because he himself wasnt sure if there was anything there with that programme. he had investigated it and didnt find anything suspicious and he even doubted if he had heard right when his shifu told him about it before dying. it's only when they start investigating the cases that he realised the programme was really connected to the murders and then told luo wenzhou.
as for the rivals in love thing with lwz and fei du, luo wenzhou says at one point that he used to have a crush on tao ran in the past but he got over it so now he's just his friend. and that his initual fighting with fei du isnt about him flirting with tao ran, just luo wenzhou's personal issues with fei du himself. they both use tao ran as an excuse to fight each other but they dont actually have romantic feelings towards him.
if you're asking about how the show is made, it's a collaborative work between china, thailand and taiwan so each…
mmhmm. the author has another novel that was also made into a thai drama so I guess they/their team found a way to give the rights to these stories to other places outside of china. I guess we'll see if other writers follow the same path in the future.
if you're asking about how the show is made, it's a collaborative work between china, thailand and taiwan so each country's teams worked on it. that's why there are both chinese and thai actors in it as well as the different labels on the drama page.
