Oh my God… the scene in episode 36 was absolutely heartbreaking. The death of the “little brother” and Dilraba's reaction… so powerful, so emotional. Their performances were incredible. The young boy, who had no one in the world, completely devoted himself to the cold woman who saved him… And she, a strong, unshakable woman who never cried for anyone, finally broke down, crying for the little boy who loved her and whom she came to love like her own child. So many emotions… truly unforgettable.
But really! Just because in the novel she's from our world, did they absolutely have to include that in the series…
I completely agree. In my opinion, in those last 10 minutes, it would have been really nice to see their lives years later, with their children. It would also have been amazing, for example, to watch the wedding of the younger protagonists. Him as emperor and her as empress. They could have included the alternate life as an extra 10-minute bonus episode, like they usually do, since they seemed to want it so much. It’s a shame I’m not the screenwriter of the series 😂
What in the world is Qian Qian really from the future? Is this something they went deeper into in the novel? Because…
But really! Just because in the novel she's from our world, did they absolutely have to include that in the series for no reason? It felt completely out of place. Unless they’re planning to make a spin-off about the second couple, where it will be a fantasy story and she will have time-traveled.
An impressive production with excellent direction, strong visual effects, and a very well-crafted soundtrack that enhances the overall atmosphere. The battle scenes are well-executed and full of intensity, keeping the viewer constantly engaged. Arthur is portrayed as an active and dynamic general, with a constant presence in the action, adding realism and strength to his character. Dilraba stands out with her commanding presence and her dark, almost demonic role. Her chemistry with Arthur is exceptional, balancing tension and humor through clever dialogue and playful interactions. The series successfully combines action, atmosphere, and a slightly dark aesthetic with subtle horror elements, creating a very appealing result. The cast is strong, and the story develops with steady pacing and intensity, never feeling flat and consistently keeping the viewer on edge.
How does a scene where someone is just washing a kitten turn out to be so damn hot? Oh… Miles started unbuttoning his shirt. That’s why 🥵 I’m suffering 😭
Am I the only one who felt that the last scene when she went to her village reminded me of Titanic? Exactly like Rose, walking forward and seeing everyone, alive and dead, smiling at her, with her beloved waiting for her in the distance. The only difference is that Jack drowned because of a door, while the Marquis is alive 😅
Don’t worry, you’re not stressing me at all. It’s 4 AM here and, once again, I can’t sleep. Searching for this drama is actually relaxing for me, but nothing specific comes to mind. So I’m just throwing out whatever pops into my head… like a female general 😅
“It sounds a lot like The Long Ballad, especially with the archery memory and military setting. But if the female general was a second lead who loved the ML, it might also be a lesser-known mini drama. I’m gonna explode if I don’t find it 😭
Netflix viewership would skyrocket if they actually translated the drama into other languages.I see lots of people…
I completely agree with you. Right now in Greece, only those who know English can watch it on Netflix. The good thing is that an illegal site has taken it due to its popularity, to translate it into Greek. That way, more and more people can watch it. This show truly deserves to be translated into every language.
not only in Europe even in Africa.. many of us here it’s now our favorite drama..
Exactly!! The haters just can’t accept the huge impact this series has made, and no matter how much they try, this time they can’t bring it down and that makes them angry. 🤟

She should’ve just given it to her granddaughter, seriously. 🙄
Okay, I thought. Someone here is a fan of Titanic. There’s no other explanation 😂
For heaven’s sake, move over a bit, Rose.

Legend of the Female General? No 🤔
