Esom didn't have a lot of screentime in ep. 1 yet, but I already really like her character and can't wait to see more of her. She already left an impression with so few scenes.
The first episode wasn't as dark as I had hoped but I still really liked it. Let's see how ep. 2 will be today. I hope it will get darker, they already gave it a 19+ rating anyway, and I'm really into dark stuff lately.
I'm really happy to see comments here praising Lee Je Hoon's acting, he's so underrated. He's one of the best Korean actors imo. I hope the drama will get good ratings in Korea so that he has a chance to win the Daesang, he'd totally deserve it. The ratings for ep. 1 were amazing, already over 10%, but it could be an aftereffect from Penthouse 2, so the next weeks will be crucial.
The warning must still be given. Otherwise, why would the ratings exist in the first place? What each individual makes out of it is a different story.
Furthermore, people here were discussing whether the drama's story would be much different from the original webtoon which has a lot of violence, so they might also be interested in this info.
I took a closer look at the tatoo and it's either "OZ" or "ZO" depending from which way you look at it. What could…
It could be English since Han Seo Joon also used English. If it's got anything to do with experiments, then "O" could stand for "object", but I have no idea what "Z" could stand for.
Or Lee Min Soo is not linked to any experiments and it means something completely different. Something like the initials of the dead girl he liked maybe.
I can't find the comment right now but someone here brought up the theory that it was actually Kang Deok Soo's mom who tried to poison him and staged it as a suicide. After rewatching ep. 11, I'm convinced this is true. His mom didn't have much of a reaction when she came to the hospital. If anything, she seemed disappointed upon seeing her son's savior. That's not how you'd react after hearing that your son tried to commit suicide.
I think JBR received the call from the reporter (keep forgetting her name) and that prompted him to stop what…
It was Lee Min Soo who knocked out Moo Chi. His tatoo could be seen in that scene and it was also visible before when he called Daniel Lee after he cleaned up after Ba Reum.
But in all honesty, is the kind kid in the beginning ofepisode 11 really Yohan? I mean, they have completely different…
I believe it's very possible. Yo Han became a doctor which is in line with the kid's desire to help people who are hurt. And he probably became cold as an adult due to all the bullying he suffered for being Han Seo Joon's son. Traumatic experiences like that can change your personality drastically. He was even ready to commit suicide, so I think he was depressed.
I was thinking about it and honestly Daniel's option does not seem to me the most appropriate way. Having killed…
I'm pretty sure the boy is Yo Han. It would also perfectly fit the story with the irony of this situation. Jae Hoon wished to become the other child and he really did (to some extent) through the surgery.
I think that line from the preview refers to what happened at the end of ep. 11. Ba Reum wanted to ignore Daniel Lee's warning, but his killing instinct awakened again and he ended up killing anyway. And then the preview goes on to tell us what will happen afterwards. Ba Reum will try to hide all traces of his murder, but an evidence pointing to him as the culprit will still be found and Moo Chi won't be able to believe it.
Though, I'm pretty sure Ba Reum will somehow be cleared of the accusations. I doubt they'll catch him already in ep. 12.
My only complaint is that Esom isn't getting enough screentime, but I think this will change in the coming episodes.
