It's definitely the same with the theater scene. I think I saw him talking in an interview about his parents being worried that he won't make enough money with acting but he turned out to be doing well enough in theater since he was popular (even though theater actors of course don't earn as much as TV/movie actors). Maybe you were actually refering to this and misunderstood it? Or was there another instance when he specified this about his mother?

As far as I understood it, he never actively tried to get into the TV scene but received an offer to join the audition for Chief Kim and that's how it all started.

While rewatching the preview for ep. 13, I noticed that Tarzan is also written on that test car that Dal Mi is sitting in and using their technology in self-driving cars was Dal Mi's idea after all. So I think it must be Dal Mi's project (although I really love the idea that "Tarzan" was a project proposal given to her by Do San).

No idea what it will be about, but yeah, I think it's pretty safe to say that there will be another time skip.

I just rewatched the preview for ep. 13 and found a date when they show us the ransomware: "Private Key will be destroyed on 2019/09/16. Time left: 11:59:37."

So the story resumes right before fall 2019.

They separate before fall 2016, but you're right, they might make it three years and some months but still consider it as three years, I didn't think about that. It definitely can't be fall 2020 after the time skip in that case though.

As to your last question, I can imagine that there will be another time skip in the last episode to show us how the characters all live happily ever after with their final choices (like showing us a wedding ceremony for example).

I think it will be fall season since they mentioned several times during the drama that cosmos (aka Dal Mi) bloom in fall. But then again, we still have one more year left (since it's highly unlikely that the drama will end its story in 2019) so maybe it will be winter first and the story ends in fall 2020.

Anyway, you might be right about the reason behind the new wardrobe. And it seems that Ji Pyung will still be working for SH Venture (according to the pics on IG etc.).

And that shows that the actor Nam Joo Hyuk is a much more awesome human being than the character Do San and thus deserves to be stanned haha. I just wish that certain fans stop seeing him and Nam Do San as one entity. They only share the same surname and that's it.

Adding to that, besides the few business-related terms that are being explained and also often used as the episodes' titles, nearly all other business-like events happening in the drama are grounded in pure fantasy.

I think most Korean actors started in theater, unless they used to be idols or models or already started as child actors. The theater scene is quite big. And a lot of them also study acting formally in university. That seems to be the most common way actually, studying acting in university, then starting out in theater/musical until they get casted for TV/movies. Actually, lots of famous TV and movie actors still do theater plays and musicals from time to time and Kim Seon Ho is one of them. Joo Won for example is also currently starring in a musical.

I just checked some comments by Knetizens under the Start-Up clips from tvn's official Youtube channel and they're like 99% pro Ji Pyung haha. They're basically stating the same stuff as we do here, but there was one more point that I saw a lot and thus caught my eye: "Ji Pyung will be 38 years old after the time skip and you let him be in a one-sided love for three years? Come on writer, that's too much."

Of course one can also start a family in their 40s or even later (at least from a biological perspective, this is definitely easier for men than for women) but yeah, they do have a point haha. It'd really be way too unfair for Ji Pyung if they make him invest three years for nothing.

I can imagine that she'll resign after working under In Jae for three years and learning all the expertise a CEO needs to have. But the more I think about this scenario, the less I like it. I'd rather have those five remaining as friends than starting another business together.

Furthermore, if we suppose that Miji is the endgame, then wouldn't Dal Mi and Do San feel uncomfortable to work together after all that happened in the past? It's impossible for Do San to suddenly be over her. And if Dodal is the endgame, they'd just repeat the same mistake as before of bringing their personal relationship into their work.

I got this idea because of all those filming wrap-up pics with those five together. I really hope the drama won't take this route though.
