Episode 6 and this drama is a big surprise. I expected another Fights break sphere, Martial universe etc. No perfect…
Your statement summend it up perfectly. You have my full support! Oh, how I hate those barbie girls running after pseudo heroes and those bon-bon colours causing you eye-cancer and those boring CGI effects so many series come along with. "Ever Night"is finally a series that takes my breath away again. One of the few highlights of 2018 - together with "Bloody Romance" and "Guardian".
Fights Break Sphere had one highlight: Dressed in white, a bit arrogant and totally gorgeous - Bai Shan (Wang…
Hehe, yep! I actually had no clue that Wang Hai Xiang would do a guest perfromance in FBS until I saw him. He's such a cutie and he was also the only reason why I finished "Myth of Sword" - he and actress Xiao Han. I wished so often, their story would be the main story in that series, but, alas, they made the weirdos lead... *knocks head against wall*
These are actually fan fiction. Original fiction to be correct. The authors write chapter by chapter on the internet,…
Fan fiction or original fiction aren't necessarily bad (I know a lot of great stuff and I am writing in both section as well), but some plots are so stupid that I feel the urge to knock my head against the wall to forget about it. Male pregnancy for a human being is one of the stupidities... I'll never understand what's going on in the heads of those writers. But some obviously think it's worth a drama series.
Sarcasm alert!!! BL drama series end up on the index or have to get turned into bromance or friendship, but a pregnant prince makes it to broadcast.??? Umm...yes...of course...because it's so natural! Nope! No way! Ohhh! And something completely new: A timetravel story! We haven't had any of those in 2018, so far, so, it desperately needed one... Some crap should better stay on fanfiction net...
Andy On in Episode 6...Holy moly! He's amazing! If anyone ever again comes up with the "40+ actors are old" argument, I'll personally put them to justice!
For me it worked well on a number of Chinese series which were available on official channels on YouTube, but were blocked in Germany. I keep my fingers crossed that it serves you well as well.
My impression after 10 episodes and 2 bottles of cider [1] ;)I'm happy with the drama adaptation so far. Obviously…
Being a 'non-VIP'-watcher and just on episode four, so far, I nonetheless couldn't agree more with your first impressions - and hardocre novel and canon fans will always find something to nag on. Let them nag. lol I remember a former friend of mine, a hardcore LOTR and Tolkien fan. She nagged and nagged over the trilogy and all those things she disliked because it wasn't like depicted in the book - and she watched the extended editions at least three or four times each year...well...I guess, to find more things to nag about. ;) So, I'll follow my personal feeling about the series and I love it. I'm still totally amazed by the opening title. When I close my eyes, it's so easy to imagine the epic movies of the 1950s like "Ben Hur" or "Quo Vadis" and the epic soundtracks of Miklos Rozsa. Wonderful!
I love the cast, the pace and the way they introduce the characters step by step, one after the other, and not, like other dramas, all in a single episode. Gorgeous settings and a beautiful soundtrack deliver the perfect atmosphere for eye and ear - and I really, really enjoy once again the absence of dubbing. Irene Song as Sang Sang is a cutie! Can I cuddle her? And Arthur Chen's voice? Wow! He could read the phone book of Shanghai to me and I'd listen attentively! The one, who really got under my skin, though, so far, is Hu Jun as General Xia Hou! What a personality and what charisma! Wow!
You can make a try and add ProxFlow to your browser. It's a tool to remove blockings from YouTube. I just suggest to switch it off after having finished watching.
