WTF was that ending? Like seriously??? That's how you decide to end it? Not only Miyabi ruined her relationship…
Don't really mind me, I wrote this literally 5 minutes after the last episode and probably still pissed haha. The whole drama was funny but the ending greatly disappointing imo. But still, you should have your own opinion, do watch it if you feel like it ^_^
The only reason I can agree with is the cinematography. K-dramas are much more aesthetic as they say, but I think most people have been sleeping on real gems by boycotting J-dramas. It usually doesn't drag and are very fun to watch. I'm not saying one is better than the other, they're simply...different. I love both tbh and I wish more people would give doramas a chance. Oh, and I also wish for J-Dramas to be more accessible to viewers, it's getting really difficult to find them (mainly because the trend is Korean so...)
WTF was that ending? Like seriously??? That's how you decide to end it? Not only Miyabi ruined her relationship with Ryotaro though he reaaaally loved her, she finally gets with Sakurai as she wanted for pretty much the entire drama, suddenly she starts liking Tokura and the poor Sakurai realizes it. So he lets her go to Tokura to tell him she wants to be with him only for Tokura to reply "I've never considered you a woman"???? So we're supposed to be satisfied with this bickering-makes-us-happy-anyway kind of bullsh*t????? WHAT THE HELL????
Is everybody still breathing after watching that ending kiss scene?????? Damn that was extreme :O I can't get my mind off of this drama HELP I THINK I'M DYING IN HERE haha
At the sole mention of Mysoju, my heart started beating fast. You make me feel so nostalgic. I grew up with dramas. It changed my way of seeing things, encouraged me to learn about the world, influenced me in my choice of studies, it seriously changed my life. I'm on my tenth year as a drama addict, I feel old though I'm still very young. Somehow, I often go back to older dramas. Not that they have better stories or better production, but just because it has this familiarity, this old-school touch I crave for.
My first drama was Hanadan and it holds a special place in my heart. I've seen more Johnny's dramas than I could count. Full House and Goong were my first Korean dramas, I was crazy about Shin Goon... And here I am, more than 200 dramas later, waiting for Another Miss Oh episodes to be available. Time sure flies.
I'm so glad to see him have his own article. The guy is a genius, hands down one of the best Japanese actor ever. His performance in Byakuyakou was particularly amazing. Playing wrecked characters fits him well. I wish to see him get really big one day. Give him some love, MDLers!
Finally some love for Jdramas! Thank you so much for the article. You've talked about most of my favorites :) I watched my first jdrama 10 years ago and I'm still addicted, that how good they are.
Okay, I totally agree with this article. I mean, what a bunch of hotties which are by the way super super nice to the girl they like. Genuinely good guys in K-drama land are hard to find. There is always that one part of the plot that ruins it all. But I had a hard time finding a flaw with these guys. Great choice for your list, and thanks for including Li Da Ren, the king of being waaaay too nice :)
This special was just beautiful. I think I never cried that much, and I am a weeper. It makes you think about so many things. What would you do to die "the proper way"? What is worth leaving behind? What should you hold on to?
The family's bond is so strong, you can't help but feel the same way they do. The cast is amazing, they did an amazing job. That's a 10 for me.
I feel exactly the same. Ji Soo was brilliant as Ha Joon and Park Hae Jin seriously broke my heart. These two were really beautifully written characters. But the others, especially n°5, got on my nerves so bad.
I thought having additional episode would be amazing but I wasn't expecting this. The only good one was the second episode (Xi Men's story), that's too bad...
So I have just watched episode 1 and... damn what was that? Was I the only one deeply bothered by how they all…
By "friend" I meant Hyun Woo. And I know this is Korea we are talking about. This is not a problem just in Korea, bigger girls are viewed badly everywhere..
I've watched episode 2, thankfully the story gets better!
