10/10 best show ever❤️ please watch it! The quality, cast, story telling and the beautiful OSTs puts it to another level. I legit started this show only for Mileapo and thought it was just a cute 70s romcom. And I completely this show with a whole new perspective.
I understand people hating on Dhevi as a character, but I can't understand those who say Be On Cloud are doing…
Tbh I didn’t love the ending between Lert and Naran. However it’s the most realistic one, and i honestly have so much respect for Boc to put out a complex female character in a BL series. Because usually female characters in BL series are very one dimensional: “the gay supporter” “ the best friend” “the lesbian side kick”.
"Boc hates women" they literally created Moira one of the best representation of women i've ever seen…
Then what you suggest her do? Kiss her husband goodbye and say“ go gay bestie😘” support him to fly away with his “mistress”. Btw there was no such thing as divorce during that time period, imagine the scandal and scrutiny she would be under. Do you think her three brothers would have taken it if they heard what happened to their little sister? This type of scandal would ruin their family image. A military power as them wouldn’t let Naran and Lert be together in peace. actually they probably wouldn’t even successfully leave the airport.
Naran being sent to America alone is the most forgiving outcome. This means there’s still hope they will meet again.
Also Lert’s ex bf died and Lert CHOSE to be married into power, and he did, he became a colonel. His rank went up since ep2. In ep2 Asawi asked Lert if they can run away together, Lert basically rejected him. Who is that to blame? Lert was the one that made his choices, maybe if he chose to run away with his ex. His ex wouldn’t be dead in the first place.
I am very curious about what good side of Dhevi you could come with up after this.
When I said “ she doesn’t know anything else” I meant her knowledge on homosexuality . During that time they probably thought “gay”could be fixed. She was madly in love with him so she thought he would eventually choose her.
The reason why she bought up his ex that died is to blackmail him to NOT leave her alone. She probably felt humiliated at the time since almost half of the town knew her husband is cheating on her with a reporter. At 33 mins, her dad was the one that killed Lert’s ex bf not her. She used it to threaten him.
One thing is his ranking, after he got married to Dhevi his rank went up three levels ( I believe, let me double check)comparing to ep 2. That means his marriage to Dhevi def given him status and power. He wouldn’t be a colonel today without her.
I know some of you are upset with Dhevi but as woman I was like go on Dhevi with your bad self. I can just read…
Dhevi is exactly someone I would imagine being a girl raised in a military background with three brothers. She's feminine but ruthless when it was needed, she's kind soft and sweet until she was wronged.
She probably felt humiliated that well…her husband has been messing around with a man and almost half the town knows about it except her. Moira probably told her later idk.
I am very curious about what good side of Dhevi you could come with up after this.
Wait I think you messed me up with other commenters. I did mention previously I didn't think it was ok for Naran to cheat if he has a gf. I said he should break up with his gf. Krailert’s situation is different since he was forced into this marriage, so I never called Krailet a “cheaterr” because he was the one without choice.
Entrap a gay man” once again it’s the 70s….are you listening to urself? Gay was looked down as something forbidden especially during that time period in Thai. So Dhevi probably thought she could “fix” him once she’s married to him, she didn’t know anything else.
She and Lert both didn't have a choice, they cant get a divorce either. So what u want her to do? It’s not like they are gf bf. I think it is human for her to become “crazy” after finding out Veera died and her husband is still gay and ready to fly off with his “mistress”. After saving her husband?? Shes gonna just allow her man flew off??The reason why I said this reaction is “human” is because she seems very obsessed and in love with Lert, to the point that if she can’t have him, no one will.
if it is today, I would think a woman like her is horrible. But if its in the 70s… I really didn't think her character was “unreasonable”.
Ok after watching ep 8 and reevaluating it, i honestly don’t think Tanwa should be together with Trin. Well, not in a sense that Tanwa should chase him back. Trin is the one that got physical, so he should be the one apologizing. The way Trin treated Tanwa was horrible, also not even a goodbye visit?
If Trin truly loved Tanwa, he would have sat down and listened to his explanation.
The fact that Trin decided to be together with Tanwa was because in the letter where he mentioned Victor was the one that was stopping this and that would be what Victor wished for. Doesn’t that just means Trin liked and valued Victor way more than Tanwa?
I am very curious about what good side of Dhevi you could come with up after this.
Her character was VERY realistic during that period. What do you expect? She hugs her general husband saying “ it’s ok girly, chase your happiness and I will stay home and find myself a better man”. Tf? Umm That was the 70s. A married woman in Thailand cheating would be looked down so badly. And getting caught it so easy. And divorce wasn’t even allowed yet.
Keep in mind she’s raised with three brothers, and her family has a military background. She def has a feminine and masculine side in her. Tbh I’m sure they raised her just like her three brothers ( not as in dressing her like one, but they were trained together or even her witnessing all the political battles or environment growing up she probably had a sense). There’s a warm side to her and a cold side. She’s also her dad’s daughter, so it checked out.
Also I saw a person in the comment section describing her experience in Thailand around that period. And everyone just fully sh*ts on her because she said that it was very gloomy and there are military personnel with rifles at the airport, wasn’t really romanticized like the series.
I personally cannot relate to her( I’m the only child) and I think what she did was horrible, but she wasn’t exactly bad since she’s the product of her time period. Her character is very realistic and it fits her persona.
I think we also have to keep in mind that Trin was also going through his own PTSD at that moment, and he wouldn't…
That’s because he didn’t see Claire’s body infront of him. Claire’s friend are the first people that give them the news that she’s gone: that’s why he was angry at the moment and grabbed the guy.
But in Victor’s scene, the first person that brings him the news was his uncle. So naturally he should have been mad at his uncle.
But I do agree on the last thing you said. He probably would have went to jail if he punched his uncle. Ok thank you
BOC and Apo already talked about this there’s no such thing as “bad or good character” in this series. Everyone has a good and bad side, there’s no such thing as someone being completely evil or completely good. So what’s with all the hate ? I think all the characters turned out amazing.
Also in ep7 what didn't make sense to me is why didn't Trin take his anger out on the person that shot Victor? that would be the normal reaction, at the moment he would be eager to find out who did this and why. why didn't he take his anger out on his Uncle Lert, when he found out Victor was shot dead by HIS subordinate? Instead, Trin ran to Tanwa and punched Tanwa in the face?
back than I made a comment regarding me feeling like Tanwa is somewhat an a*shole to his dad. And some people just started saying how horrible his dad was, the dad kill the mom etc....but I thought Tanwa said his mom "left on her own", as in she was the one that committed to end her self? His father decided to quickly bury this case because it wouldn't look good for his image or business reasons.
There's nothing to protect. It's the way his character is written. And it has nothing to do with the actor.
this. Imagine the hateful comments directed to Pracha ( Lert's boss) and Dao. At the end of the day it's just a character that's being criticized, not the actor himself.

Ok I guess he’s in love with Tanwa so he trusts Tanwa more…
What was the reason?
so did his father killed his mom?
Prior to that I thought he was eyeing on Naran.
