Even in chess, I believe a perfect game where you don't lose any pieces is not quite possible, especially if your…
quick question: what is the back story of the guy on the rolling table who was tossing the bread in the canal. Was he a past worker under Xiao Wu Yang? Thanks

Edit: wait nvm it was Chancellor Gao from ep 2 lol I rewatched it and realized that was him LMAO idk why I wasn't able to recognize him.

right?? I think it's because he sees his son's face so it's hard for him to murder him?..maybe. Like he probably still his son is still there, even though he's not.

ep17 my heart just hurts...if I'm Mo's father I would not accept a person who legit murdered my own son...like I would probably not be as forgiving. My tears once again omgggg, all I do is cry watching this show.

ok thanks..I guess it does make a little more sense.

He was set upon by civilians as like they betrayed him or what did they exactly do? if he kills threat to prevent threats than isn't An also a threat since he legit killed his father in front of him? so why did they left him alive when he was little...

Also what made him want to join the Hu Beng gang, and made him devote to the gang more than his own family. For power and money?

I understand your point and I agree with you that it's an objectively logical, safe choice, though it's so immoral
very true, it is very immoral. If it was me I would probably kill the bed emperor...but it looks like An needs him so...tbh if both lives. Hu ben gang will probably find out real quick than the cover will blow. So one of them has to get gone...

Am I the only one that feels like the bad emperor killing Mo or his doppelgänger is the right thing to do...because eventually the cover will blow if both lives. Sure, the original Mo can go far away and live with his family but...in someway they will find out and put two and two together.

As a person who is a fan of the Shine series, I have to agree with your viewpoint. This series was introduced…
“ they have said it over and over it’s not romance centered” can i get the source of where you pulled that from? I thought they said it was ML instead of BL. When they were interviewed about the show.

Ok since it’s heavy in politics then why should mileapo’s screen time matter? The main topic is politics so why are u complaining about you cp’s screen time, as long as the second couple prove the point of the series. Than that’s all it matters.

I was talking about “comedy”…which is part of a rom-com ( Romance +comedy) you do know what rom com means right? And the show genre was grouped as a rom com.

very good for a drama genre, but to heavy for a bl series... it give me great anxiety
As a person who is a fan of the Shine series, I have to agree with your viewpoint. This series was introduced as a rom-com, and I expected the series to be rom-com. And unfortunately imo I see no comedy in this series...I cried a whole saturday because one of the episode...

It is a great series, I give it a 10/10 still but yeah...I get you.

Person Peter Deriy
He is half Thai… he’s supposed to speak Thai. He was maybe not fluent but no way he learned it.
Peter said multiple times he was not fluent in Thai, he went to an international school prior to going to college so he spoke and learned mostly English. Most likely he grew up attending international school ( age 2-18). He went to Ekamai International School which goes from pre k - grade 12.

Also he wanted to make sure he pronouniate the word correctly( the way he speaks had to line up with his character since the era was set in 1969), on the set boc assigned him a teacher Kru mon to help him with Thai.

I completely disagree on the chemistry between Trin and Victor. At no point did I ever actually feel any sort…
on episode 3, when Trin and Tanwa were walking in the hallway, Tanwa was greeting other students( minute 31) Trin asked Tanwa if he graduated, it's been 10 years . Tanwa said he's still a student. And then he said he just transferred his major from History to Philosophy.

Now you are just being ignorant even when his character himself said he's still a student at the school. you are literally the one acting like a child.

"also that's his professor ew" do you even watch the show, Tanwa is also a student ( he even called himself the "super senior student") who did not dropped out and he informed Trin on ep 3 that he changed majors from History to Philosophy.

So according to your logic, tanwa is ok dating the professor.

Trin isn't attracted to Victor as a lover I agree, he probably see him as a little brother or the favorite student. But, you can have chemistry with someone you're not attracted to because chemistry is a combination of factors, and attraction isn't a prerequisite. You can experience intellectual, emotional, or platonic chemistry with someone based on shared interests, values, and connection, even without a physical attraction.

While intense physical and sexual attraction is a component of romantic chemistry for many, a deep emotional and intellectual bond can be just as powerful.

Overrated, not a masterpiece as others had commented. People are only pretending to like this because it was produced…
tbh this series if VERY different from Kinnporsche, I don't think anyone should approach this series thinking it's going to be another kp type of series.
