the title is kinda weirdly translated, it's more like "my bias (suddenly) appeared"
You are correct but translation work is never literal, actually good translators know how to adapt the context and culture of the language as well as make the translation more "accurate" or eye catching depending on the situation. So I wouldn't say it's weird or incorrect, it's just a stylistic choice made by the translator, as it sound much better linguistically this way. The English title is also a play on words which makes it more memorable to the audience.

Just noticed it....their first text message after they got married was sent at 10pm too🥲🥲🥲Coincidence?…
No, but I do think they're trying to make parallels with that and also because it was the time she would call him as the perpetrator.

Also can we please have some REAL happy scenes instead of the imaginary ones. We're all loving the chemistry but it's really downplayed by the fact that it's always in their heads and not reality. They deserve some quality time together after all this shit. They better bring him back within the first 10 minutes of tomorrow's episode or I'll scream.

For 2024 (and now 2025) this has been the only kdrama that has caught my attention so far, but wtf was with ep 11? I'm so frustrated right now, I really wish we would've spent this SOLVING issues rather than creating more. Like I'm pretty sure we all know what the thing the real BSE said was, but why were we left with another major cliffhanger... I was really hoping for a nice wrap-up but it seems that it is impossible with this drama. I've been enjoying even the cliché stuff in this drama but I feel like every episode starts and ends the same for the past 3 episodes. I'm really hoping for a miracle tomorrow, I really wanted to rate this drama well but it's more annoying than exciting after today's ep.

Honestly the drug plot is not that interesting
It's because there has been a recent rise in the use of drugs in South Korea so it's some sort of "propaganda" and a topic that is highly discussed in Korean society nowadays.

Well that was a dumpster fire... I really tried to stand the ridiculous writing and plot holes until this episode but I don't know if I can deal with it anymore. Like what even is going on?

Title GAP
A lot of people are being really offensive in their comments about GAP. Yes, people are of course allowed to critique the drama but the outright homophobic comments I've seen and the fact that people being much more harsh on GAP than any BL, is very upsetting. It just goes to show that some of the BL fans that are calling GAP disgusting while making excuses for their favourite BLs are not actually supportive of LGBTQ+ but they are only watching it for the pretty boys. And don't get me wrong, I do also love a nonsensical lighthearted BL once in a while but bashing GAP while calling the BLs masterpieces is extremely hypocritical.
This is obviously a fairly low-budget drama and the script writing could honestly be much better but it is the first GL in Thailand in this scale (as in marketed toward a wider audience and not just an "indie" drama) so it is an extremely significant event for many of us. As someone who is WLW, this is such an important moment for me and just the existence of this drama makes me really happy. And yes, I have cried watching this drama just due to the fact that I finally see some representation for the WLW community and my inner child is finally feeling relieved seeing love between women being presented so beautifully. GAP provided me with the lesbian fluff, cuteness and drama that Western TV shows have failed to include for years. I'm looking forward to seeing many more GLs in the future.

I have to say, as a queer woman, I am disappointed. Yes, it should be okay for her to not end up with anyone (for now) but this is literally one of the only modern lighthearted GLs that even exist. I really wanted to watch a relatable, cute, lighthearted GL where she ends up with the girl and happily ever after. I know it might not always be realistic etc etc but WHY is it that they only ask for reality when it's a show about LGBTQ. Like I just want to be able to have that cliché af teenmovie to watch where the mains are both girls, and they have their cute ending together. There are so many BLs nowadays, even from really conservative countries like Korea, but no GLs and it is so frustrating. I know it is because most BLs are geared toward (especially teen and usually straight) female audience because there are all these beautiful men to look at, and I get that, it's okay to have that too, unless you fethisize them (which a lot of BLs do) but please can we have some proper LGBTQ representation, like Gameboys, but also for queer women.

Covid and politics. The premise had to be changed and the whole script rewritten to avoid getting into trouble…
Politics and the military involvement in the political life is really serious in Thailand. The latest military reign only ended in 2019 and they are currently still very influential in politics even though the current government was elected through an election.

Unfortunately, most of bl drama from gmmtv are an adaptation of a thai bl novel, which mostly started off from…
I definitely agree with that statement. Thai BLs are not LGBTQ shows, they're almost like another universe where 90% men are gay and women are just mean, plotting exes or friends. And the fact that they make such a big deal about the 'husband and wife' setting in gay relationships is disfusting. And your personality/the way you present, has nothing to do with your sexual preferences... They're just trying to make it more heteronormative to appeal to a bigger audience, the fanfic loving, fantasising girls. I understand that there's a demand for that, and I don't think anyone should be shamed for consuming these products if they enjoy them (I also liked the comedic and lighthearted romance of Thai BLs in the beginning) but when it takes away representation from actual LGBTQ or misrepresents them so grossly, it's just wrong. As a queer woman, I really hope to see some proper representation at some point, not just the gross sexualisation of wlw or gay men getting fetishised by straight women. Like the fanservice culture in Thailand is so toxic and most of the actors seem so uncomfortable doing it (with a very few exceptions where I think they might actually have feelings for each other or just be really close friends so they don't mind doing that) while their fans are convinced they are in love with each other in real life.

i agree with you so much! also could you giv me some recommendations on good GL shows and better queer shows than…
Unfortunately there are not a lot of GLs (at least that I know of), there is one ongoing series from the Philippines that is called Pearl Next Door. It is a spinoff of a BL series called Gameboys that aired earlier this year. I recommend watching that before watching Pearl Next Door. And then there's one other (realistic) BL series called Like in The Movies, this one is very touching and deals with the issues of discovering one's sexuality and the difficulty of coming out. You can find all of these on YouTube (they are webseries).
In addition there is a Thai BL called I Told Sunset About You, I still have not finished the series myself but I've read a lot of good comments on it. The cinematography is beautiful and the story is very touching.

Why is almost every other Thai BL the same? Especially from GMM. One of the leads is always (at least) borderline homophobic, here there is no question of it, and treats gay people as if they're some disgusting species. I understand that internalized homophobia is a thing, but it is not realistic when it's literally in every single drama. And when they made a joke out of a s*xual assault in episode 1.... That's just disgusting. PLEASE, give us shows with actual, realistic queer representation where not everyone is gay and/ or homophobic. I'm so tired of these plots. I am so glad that there have been some Pinoy web series this year that have legit queer representation and they battle real problems us queer people face. This is just another proof that Thai BLs are made for straight women who fantasize about two good-looking men making out. And I'm not saying it's not okay to have this kind of an audience but I would like to see some diversity and have shows that are aimed to queer people. Like if you really want to support queer people, write better characters, have wlw/GL series as well, have trans people (without ridiculing them), have asexual characters, have bisexuals (not just those "I normally like girls and I would NEVER like any other guy except you") and many more queer identities. I was looking forward to this because of the trailer but I don't think I can watch this anymore unless there's some serious character development, and admitting mistakes, not just suddenly "turning gay".

So now it's 8 episodes? I'm glad because there is still so much to process and there's no way they could do it in 1 episode. I assume this means Pearl is actually going to end up together with someone because if it ended this week, I don't think there would be enough of development for her to make her decision. Also, as an Alex stan, I really hope they would give more of a backstory to her. Like have her talk to someone else so that we could see how she's like with other people than Pearl.

THIS exactly. As a bi woman, although some people in the comments attacked me for saying this, I can't just forgive her for being extremely biphobic. Even if all of her exes ended up with a guy, it does not mean they didn't love her when they were together. She even said that to her best friend (the one who is her ex) that "even you are marrying a guy". Like, so? She's bi, she can fall in love with a guy. They even said that the reason for the breakup had nothing to do with her future husband so I really don't understand Karleen. She can feel hurt, she can be scared of getting into a relationship and it's valid to be scared, but why did Karleen invalidate Pearl's feelings when she was 100% sure of her feelings, and is now baiting her to get her back? I hate it so much. And Pearl seems to still have feelings for her so I'm expecting them to get together. I'm really glad someone finally wanted to produce a 'lighthearted' GL but I wish they had done some things differently.

That might be your taste but to me that kind of relationship sounds more like a teacher-student relationship. I want to have a partner, be it man or a woman, who feels we're the same level and trust me enough for me to make decisions by myself, and not be patronizing as if they're a parent taking care of a child, all the characters are supposed to be mature adults. To me that sounds like a nightmare, I would never want to "be taken care of" in every aspect of my life by my partner, especially work related issues. Instead, I think it is a lot healthier and better for the relationship if you are supporting each other the best you can without meddling with every aspect of their life.
