All the cast did a very well job in delivering their roles esp the leads (Baifern never disappoints lol) but if…
Agree! Good thing you said :)

On Let Me Off the Earth May 27, 2022
7.5 stars out of 10 (watched this when it came out and finally, I'm reviewing it)
A drama that had potential. The first few chapters the plot made sense and had a good development. Once they started adding characters and more sub plots it was a mess. The sub plots felt unfinished, example the one classmate who had a boyfriend that was toxic and controlling it felt it didn't have a conclusive ending. Like he was stalking her and went to her house and the day after she just said aah he saw my dad and left. Like a man that was that angry and controlling wouldn't let it go like that. I loved Han Gyeol and Ye Jin ship them so much and boom she gets a new boyfriend. I was so mad and once I started to like him the writer decides to just make him nonexistent, I'm guessing the actor had more dramas to film. which I find unprofessional of his part to start something but because he gets a better job drop the one that made him known. Well at least we had hope for Han Gyeol and Ye Jin on the ending, but still wish we saw them date :(

Anyone waiting for Hyung Tak to have his own season?! I hope they have it. How the heck can a drama have so many good-looking people in the cast, like specially the three of the love triangle. Okay, Now to the review
8 out of 10 stars

What I like:
*The cast
*Even do the plot is so overused, It had a good pace and it wasn't boring.
*The FL ex character development. Omg beside he is so gorgeous, I felt the necessity to call dibs on the group chat my family, friends and I have hahaha.
*HEA
*The cutesy relationship/friendship between the lead friends, Min Ji and Ba UI. (both like each other at the same time but didn't date mostly just flirting)

What I didn't like:
*Byeong Kwan acting, I love A.C.E but his acting was over the top.

7.5 out of 10 stars and only because I liked Shin Ae or it will be way less.

What I liked:
*Shin Ae
*Redeemable characters (Min ah and Young Min) even if I didn't completely loved them.
*After so many episodes maybe after 80 Shin Ae and Young Min had a interesting relationship
*Min Ah little son was adorable.

What I didn't:
*Every character except Shin Ae, Min Ah and Young Min were bad for most of the drama until somethings made them change. Jung Min was a decent dude until everything wasn't going his way and people betrayed him he turned into one of the most douchy characters. All the freaking moms were sooooo mean, Young Min's mom was the worst because she was loud and obnoxious besides being money hungry and mean. Even Shin Ae and Young Min son was so annoying and spoiled.
*The plot was a very over used and clique.

Okay before I say what I like, and didn't I have to confess that I at times I wanted Touch to like his wife more than just a friend. Maybe because I seen dramas, read books and hear in real life that it happens. That a gay male has fallen for a girl and no not many girls just that girl, he feels no attractiveness towards any other women just that one. Okay there is my confession hahaha

What I liked:
*That at least Touch and his wife tried even if he couldn't love her like he wanted. That they kissed and really tried. His life was so sad.
*How the granny didn't fall for the bad cousin tricks.
*The Bad cousin wife and his bodyguard relationship.
*The leads chemistry
*That they had more than just two kisses.

What I didn't:
*Beside the marriage plot the rest was like every other lakorn.
*Her dad! URgh hated him.
*That when the granny ask Touch if he had more things to confess he didn't confessed his biggest secret, that he was gay. I had a feeling she asked cause she had a feeling and it was like he didn't grasp the opportunity.
*That overall Its never okay when a gay guy marries a girl because he will never love her like a Real woman. Both suffer.

Overall a good drama that in a way I wish had two endings hahaha one with touch and the original.

Okay the plot is not unique at all, on the contrary is very clique. But oh boy did it maybe giggle and get butterflies on my stomach like a teen girl lol. This is definitely a Reverse harem! and I love all the guys. Okay now that I see why this is not tag as that? A reverse harem. She dates three guys for goodness sake hahha.
Okay this is not about really loving yourself and such like I read some reviews about. She was very focus on the guys and on one guy she didn't like him because he wasn't good looking which is very contradicting with her story, why should people love her as she is (before the change) When she can't accept and love someone for not being good looking. Okay let me explain. The guy ask her out and only cause she was as "ugly" as him, she does accept him but he was kind of weird wanting to kiss her right away. But what i meant it was she was judgmental about his looks.
Also isn't loving yourself loving how you look and how you are? She changed so much and also how she was when she dated a guy. That didn't change when she picked her final guy.

My rating or review shouldn't be taken very seriously hahahah because I watched solely for a secondary couple but I will review for what I saw.
7.5 stars of 10
A very cookie cutter family drama. A house where the parents, who are now grandparents like old old live with two of their kids (sons) and their family. They have other siblings but they don't live in the house. We get their struggles, also we get their kids (which are adults) stories. A son who has been a love with his ex but dates a girl who is very in love with him, they marry but he struggles with letting go of his past love. A daughter who struggles to get pregnant and her hubby who has a secret he didn't share when they got married. A son who is a dreamer (this is the secondary couple I stayed watching for, Both like each other at the same time), he wants to travel and fall for a girl who he should have, In Korea culture they can't date in laws and she was that. Also the girl's mom was obsessed with her, the girl was an actress, the mom thought he wasn't worth of her beside the in law thing. All the third gen siblings had HEA. Also there is so cousins in the mix.
The family drama overall had a HEA.

Is just so twisted right? Society makes them hide. People get hurt. Like the ML lead lover is married cheating on his wife. He says he wants that life. What wasn't clear its if his goal was to hide the fact he was gay on his new university and try to live a life of a married man, starting again with the cycle his lover had married cheating on his wife with a man. Which is twisted and sad.
I know a lot of trans, Gay and les I'm Pan myself. Trans say they hook up with married men, so in a way even with a society who is more open or accepting than Asian countries we still have men hiding the fact they like men and still lie to their wives.

Overall a Sad but realistic drama.

7.5 stars out of 10

Okay before I start with what I liked and didn't I want to say my rating is low because this was heavily promoted as a romance drama, and that is not what we got. Also, to enjoy this you surely don't have to be worldly or sophisticated you just have to appreciate a good healthy drama, I was going to say romance, but we didn't get that. If you want a good healthy romance, I recommend the Kdrama Run on.

What I liked:
*The acting
*A well-developed plot
*Character development
*A female lead who grew and followed her dreams I'm happy she didn't put a man first and didn't follow thru her goals in life.
*Secondary couple, their romance was super cute (both liked each other at the same time)
*A good pace drama about achieving dreams and growing. A chill drama.

What I didn't:
*The lack of Romance (cleared why I'm saying this on first paragraph)
*It felt the villain didn't get punished
*Most episodes the male lead is a douche

I also saw that when I was watching that episode. Laurinda Ho wanted to make sure everyone knew Shawn is hers,…
I mean agree on most but not on the marriage part. Marriage doesn't assure no cheating, no jealousy or we wouldn't have divorce for those who cheat. Maybe she has a low self esteem because even beautiful people have it. I just hope it doesn't affect his acting. Because by what you mentioned she sounds very controlling.

Also my first Shawn drama was Princess Agents and omg how I wanted him with the sister of his friend, the one that liked him. Sadly he was obsessed with the lead girl. Also sadly we won't get season 2 because of the plagiarism accusation.
