So far, my review of ep 1 thru 14 (It's my opinion don't come at me saying but I think, or you are wrong, yah is my opinion) *Is the chemistry the best I ever seen between two leads? Nope. I have seen him have more chemistry with other actresses and I have seen her have more chemistry with other actors. *The plot is so slow and boring, so far. I know it can't be pure romance or fighting scenes, but I have seen a few dramas with the perfect mix. Again, so far I'm not getting that from this drama. Mostly is talking and talking. The part of investigations is not even my problem those can be fun. But example daddy king and witch queen talking, yawn alert. *For me the most exciting thing on this drama has been Lu Si and Yang Yang interactions, and When people (princes, princesses, masters etc etc) meet for the first time with any of the leads or the duo, Example Huang chao meeting Xi Yun. I'm thinking of waiting for more episodes cause the waiting is excruciating.
Not one likeable character on this. The dads of the leads plotting until the end for the leads to end together with no care whatsoever of their kids' feelings. The FL's dad was a major racist, who said If he is not a Korean man, he is not a good man. I understand being proud of your race and country but dear lord not every Korean man is good. The ML's family pushing him to marry because they thought because of a few misunderstandings that he was gay. Homophobia at is finest. Don't get me started on the grandma. The FL's sister was annoying as heck sweet talking everyone ear's off. The ML's mom thought her son was perfection (he wasn't) like he could walk on water, always whining. One of the worst family dramas I seen.
Wow so freaking adorable! The two couples are so good looking and so cute together. This is very bubbly, very easy to enjoy. Felt rushed that’s why it was 7.5 out of 10 stars.
Maybe I'm totally off but the leads give me Qing Qing and Qian Xun vibe. Like they knew each other, but they don't remember. Like whom was the little girl he saw in his flash back the one he mentioned he liked, was that LuSi character? So far, I'm loving this. Yang Yang character is my favorite so far, I watched many of his dramas and usually is the girl interested in him first but seeing him like so in love first OMG freaking adorable.
Was this outstanding? NO Was this unique? NO but it wasn't the worst family drama I have seen. Okay the main lead couple didn't get together until like episode 70. Most people didn't know who the real daughter was until like 110 episodes. This was Slowwwwww in plot development. I liked that the FL didn't like the lead guy right away and that he was the one who liked her, even though he didn't like her at all at first for some misunderstandings. It was slow burn tho they didn't like each other right away. Its Enemies to Lovers trope. The cousin and aunt didn't have enough time for me to see true redemption. They were witches to the very end, well until like 5 minutes before the ending but to me that wasn't enough time to deserve a good ending. I think I didn't have the FL damsel in distress trope because I love the lead actress, but she was your typical the world is my enemy FL.
Two of my favorite actresses on a drama what right did I do to deserve this!! But I wish Seul Gi would do leads, I don't care much for the actor tho :( but I can't complain I already have a blessing with these two actresses.
Hi can you spoiler something for me. It says the middle son is a divorcee but in the drama he just remarried his…
Okay the middle son didn't have a family maybe you mean the older brother he was the married one with a little boy. She worked in a shop with cars. They separate and he gets with his ex. At the end they seem to end up alone. Like the GF of the younger brother goes to a university on another part of the country I think they decide to wait for each other but not together. Overall all of them where alone in a table with the dad at the end scene.
I was really hoping number 9 to change for this Thai version bc Kaning and Kavin chemistry was truly off the roof;…
I only watched hoping that we could have gotten as far as the Chinese secondary couple went. But we didn't so I was so disappointed. For Kaning and Kaving was the angst they had the less screen time than any other SC in the remakes. Example they didn't go to the trip like in the Korean. So when they had scenes the crumbs they gave us where so waited for, they were crumbs but to us they were meals hhahahah
Okay well I know this was a web series so it was short, but still expected more. Love both actors tho! Love them on season 1 and season 2 of About is love.
Not Go ahead level just an okay drama I was shipping the middle brother with the chef lady who said she was his fan, not the one the one that looked like she was always mad lol or the one he married. Didn’t care much about the marriage of the older brother but his plot was good like with his job stuff. The younger brother plot i liked but man I wish for something else with his GF. LOOOOVED Xu Xiao Mu!
