Okay I agree I seen drama and movies where it actually worked, also Thank you. And let me tell you the last two years I haven’t even watch that many dramas. I have lacked or should I say Asian dramas have been lacking hahaha

Yeah exactly and let me tell you something worst, I told my sister in law to watch this with me, we rarely agree in dramas to watch because we have very different taste but we never obligate each other to watch something. But boom she agreed to watch this with me. What we do is watch an episode when we have the time and send a voice message reviewing each episode when we are done. The last overall review of the drama VM I started with “I’m so sorry I made you watch this. I shouldn’t have even mentioned this drama to you, now I’m going to be scared to recommend dramas.” This was that bad to me in the part where I had to make myself finish it that I feel so bad for recommending this to be a drama we can review :(

Sincerely I wanted to love this, I started this and another kdrama and neither were good to me. I guess that’s why I don’t watch as many kdramas and been sticky to cdramas.

Yeah for sure what made me like this less was the episode repetition. I would have preferred if they try to solve other cases and between each episode still develop this plot line. Because they were purely focus on the main plot they couldn’t solve it until the end and and we were over it, where they messed up more was telling us who the villain was since episode 2. They didn’t even let us guess on that.

If you want a drama where each episode is the same as the previous one, where you stay with questions and things unsolved. Give it a try. I can’t even lie and say give it try for the leads chemistry because even tho I love the actress I felt no chemistry between them.

7.5 rating and only because of the cutesy bromance at the ending episodes.


Great actors and acting, bad writers!
So each episode was copy and paste of the previous. I would have loved this if they had focus in a new case each episode, resolve it, and would have talked of this case in between, resolve it on the last episode. This was very predictable, we knew we will get the cops chasing the villain, fight scene where they would do amazingly and later the villain beating them and getting away, If I remember correctly the head leader of the police department was in one of the villains meetings and he got to be a hero at the end? Did we get another drama miracle when they gave us all the hints of brain tumor from headaches, ear ringing, vomiting and blindness but we didn’t even get to know what was wrong with him? Also they messed up with telling us who the villain is since episode 2 they didn’t let us guess, give us something to solve ourselves.

You mean the lead actor? He is not just handsome for Chinese people also international! Just because you think he is not doesn’t mean others including from your country will not find him good looking. Example You may be fugly to some people but good looking to others.

I shouldn’t even say this because I’m always lecturing how fake the ratings are on this site but really 7.6 this minimal deserves 8.0, the chemistry between the leads? Great! HEA? Yes! Multi Couples? YES. Love triangle? No The kisses? GOOD. The cast visuals? Amazing!!! the lead was good looking but for me Zhuo Qian was my favorite. We even get an after sexy time scene on the bed all cuddle, super cute by the way. The plot went where is supposed to go, meaning it wasn’t a bogus plot that was all over the place, they set to do things and solved them and that’s how it went. Good fighting scenes. Overall a good drama.

Girl are you new to Asian dramas? I seen miracles with terminal illness in Asian dramas, one example one was were the guy had a tumor on his brain and it was incurable and he got hit with a bat and he was cured. Yes you heard that right.

The reason it should not affect you is for example idol dramas can have the suckiest plot and boring but the fans will rate it 9 because oppa o gege is hot.
People can rate an unfinished drama on this site. It can be episode one out and they rate it 9. I seen master pieces with the greatest cinematography with 7 rating because they don’t have popular actors and the worst dramas with 8 and 9 because oppa lee Minho is the lead or gege yang yang is the lead. Or Lu Si is the lead girl.

The only reason people change the ratings or make fake profiles to rate multiple times it’s immaturity of many teens on this site and pride of fandoms, not because it really matter to the actors or drama.

You shouldn’t care how high or low the rating is here because is the fakest rating. Also doesn’t affect the actors and the drama not where it matters, China. The actors and dramas don’t get awards or recognition for ratings like from sites like this one. The rating that matters is the one in China.

Example Hidden Love (which I love) here on MDL it’s one of the highest rated , in the year of release the rating was 9.1 , and in China douban rating was 6.7.
Long season on Douban had 9.0 with 841,144 people rating it, while on MDL had a 8.1 rating and only 98 people rate it, so imagine that? Big difference it makes 9.0 with almost a million people rating it! And the rating here is laughable because it has 8.1 rating is high with less than 100 people rating it. How can it compare.

On the second episode I said this because even back then I notice how selfless he was with his friend. The ML until episode 4 turn “good” because before that he was simply a douchebag. And let me tell you I got attacked for saying the SML was perfection. And saying he and the grandma were my favorites (before she passed.)
To be sincere viewers have a way to pardon leads for things they don’t to second leads or even the exes or lets been say the villains. Specially with the male lead he can be a douchebag to the girl and the girls viewers are omg he loves her hahhaha
