Sadly those who only have tunnel vision won’t see that because they only like praising the ML character. They can’t stand to share the male leads spot light. I love the male lead but so far I can’t see him outshining no one. Maybe later on.

On the last episode I added my comment about my Suspicion of the Queen Mother and the way she acted towards Grand Prince. The way both looked at each other when they danced together, I felt they had something going on. Now it was confirmed, and what ever it may be said by other viewers that smile he gave her in the stairs wasn’t a just friendship smiled, did it stay platonic for both that’s more a possibility.
But her playing the victim card saying she gave up all those things and her dreams. In real historical time she really didn’t have options, present time she wasn’t royal. But she had to listen to her daddy and kept listening to her daddy. So is no one’s fault but her own! Her greed her daddies greed. She put herself and daddy first even before her own child. So I don’t feel bad for her at all.

She has more scenes with the SML so far. The ML has saved her life a few times, I don’t know if that counts for romance for you. She still oblivious of any possible romance between them, he likes her but says nothing to her and is more business like towards her, again except in a scene, that scene has no kissing or nothing like that I don’t how to explain how it was good cause it would be spoilers.

Definitely is another Jacob and Edward situation. I mean with Ms Gu with Ye Xian And Yan Yun. Ye Xian would be Jacob and Yan Yun would be Edward. I was never an Edward fan now I’m fan of neither hahaha depends of your preference at each age. In 2008 I was definitely Jacob’s fan. I like fun risk takers more than mature boring. So I know with that said you would guess who I will pick in this drama.

EXACTLY what you said they are to CP focus to see how good some of the other guys are. The ones appreciating them aren't saying nothing about end game. We just appreciated a well written male character. Also depending on each viewer and their preference you will like one more than the rest. I have seen so many Second male leads trashed when most are just used by the female lead when the male lead threats them wrong. For moral support, for rides, etc etc and when the male lead is not being an ahole they just kick them to the curve. How are the second leads the bad ones? They call them annoying and yes some don't get the hints but most aren't like that.

People can say whatever they want about Ye Xian and yes, the incident did happen and I was so pissed and I was like no more. But so far, he has done way more for her than the other two. He KNEELED for her, yes for her because he didn't know the mother that way. Even the sister told him he shouldn't have done that because of his status. The way he said literally who do I have to kill. She has changed him and she doesn't even know it. The times the ML have save her life have been because they are in the same place accidentally. I need the ML to step up his game. The only good scenes between them are the one where she cured him but the rest are boring. And I am not saying YX should be end game because we know who the end game is.
