Although some people are complaining about the messy plot and confusion, the drama was good enough for me since I happened to be to be familiar with GJM dramas, I've got to say he is the only director who could make google him and I usually don't know more than the actors name in dramas. I didn't watch this drama in the right frame of mind so I won't say much about it maybe if I rewatch it later I'll have much more to say.

I'm familiar with most of the cast and I'm happy they are getting a lot of attention. Tan jiarui face card is insane😍, his face alone made me like him.

Also 149k comment, congratulations 🎉 🎉 to VOS it officially has the highest comments on mdl. I hope it ratings increase because honesty I've seen worse dramas with higher rating.

Do you really think for a new viewer wanting to watch this drama, who is treated fairly or unfairly matters. If a drama comment was such a mess are you sure you would watch the drama. Think about it, you didn't see any comments that talked about how the drama was great or how the character were amazing instead each person are taking sides and tearing the drama in personal characters praises do you really think you would watch the drama.

Congratulations you guys have finally turned this dramas comment section into a war zone, I can't even see the comments that truly praise the intelligence of the drama. How annoying

I have to say this is one of the best drama I have watched recently and I have only two questions
1. why didn't they switch the main couple with the other couple cause they definitely outshone the main couple.
2. How did they manage to do this in just 24 EPs 😱 I always thought that costume dramas need more EPs to make it more interesting

I only agree with 2 things you said. First it did drag on and could have been shorter, secondly the Hong Kong arc was unnecessary. You didn't understand how WYF got passed her truama and I supposed we understood how DJX solved his trauma

What the hell did I just watch, I mean schemes are intriguing but this was just outright dry. Just multiple headache and annoyance. The end was bad, plain bad I get the point that this was a buildup for the second season but they shouldn't have left so many cliffhangers. Point to note the ML is a spoilt brat who luck just happens to favour every time. I thought his characters in JOL was bad but this one was worse. Him giving ZK a speech at the end was just annoying cause he was born with a silver spoon and was given choices not mention the gang beating they gave him, I get the fact that there is no excuse for being bad but that still doesn't make it less annoying. This is my ranting so I would appreciate it if you simply scroll pass. My opinion is mine and mine alone.

It was a nice watch, but if not because of first frost I would probably have never watch this because for me it was overrated, I was half wrong.

I think it lacks depth when compared to first frost, it was just a fluffy romance drama, first frost had a lot of depth and layers which made it unique.
Nonetheless it's a nice drama to pass time, I still feel first frost is better.

No matter how interesting his drama is it can't be compared to untamed so why make such an unnecessary comparison

This drama is actually interesting to me although it had it's loop holes it was definitely worth it, I remember watching this first till EP 15 then finding out that LIP came first so I paused to watched LIP first before continuing this but that was a very big mistake for me because the dramas are not connected at all, I was so anxious for LIP to finish so I could come back to watch this, although LIP is good, I liked this one better you could even say I finished LIP just so I could watch this but I was disappointed because Qinlan jumped of a cliff and that was the end of her story in LIP. Who was her husband? Where did he come from? none of those answers were given, watching LIP first was just a waste, I shouldve watched this first and watched LIP whenever I wanted to. To think I complained about Blood of youth series connection, this one was completely worse the writer did a horrible job connecting the series, he didn't even connect them at all, he should have just written them as stand alone dramas instead saying that they are connected . Blood of youth series did the best connection among the series. Definitely not watching Sword and Beloved, not interested

This is my first time seeing Miles Wei in a costume drama I absolutely loved him, he should act more costume drama

first of all calling this drama wuxia is completely misleading, this is a complete xiaxia just that it's without romance, I'm on EP 8 and I really love Lou youxi but I can't seem to get the story, usually at eps 5 I can already pick up the story in most dramas this one just seems like a filter apart from the costumes and the slow motion scene(which seems like a complete waste) I can't get anything out of this drama, What eps does it get better😩
