True. I agree that I like the novel more,but since they changed the story a lot this reaction of XJ is understandable. Atleast he is not totally ignoring HY.

XJ cooked longevity noodles for HY on her birthday while they were in the boat. But the actual scene in the drama was waayyyy shorter than the novel and didn't include many romantic scenes.

Well they removed the scene of XJ cooking noodles for HY but shot the opposite 😔. Was really hoping to see the former.

If I am not wrong they removed the charector of Chiwu. The novel chapter where everyone knew about HY's female identity but Chiwu remained clueless during the disguise as a ' lady' was such a funny chapter to read lol.
