He has the masculine look and mannerisms that Arthur Chen exhibits. Even his kissing scenes in The Sun In The Dark remind one of Arthur Chen. Hope to see him in more costume dramas.

Filming in these longer short series have come a long way. I'm enjoying this one with a talented cast. Being a short, it cuts out all of the filler stuff. Hope to see these actors in more costume dramas.

For a split second, I almost thought that poster was of Jeremy Tsui. ZYC looks great in that costume. Glad to see Zhao Qing as the lead female role here.

It's interesting as his profile was raised by his memorable performance in Legend of the Female General but I haven't seen the first ML in anything before. On episode four and it's really a great story line so far. Hope that Kang Le has as much of a story in this going forward as the first ML.

Yes, I see that, it's a matter of preference. Some people commented that they were bummed when the cartoonish images didn't show up every single time ML ate whereas I think it's fine not to show them every single time.

Yeah, I was wondering how they were going to last as a couple so the ending where he becomes a demon too is a nice way to close out the story. I didn't see it coming when it turned out his Dad was the former Cat Demon.

Half of the fun in this series is the way they misspell and pronounce modern words that they don't understand in ancient Joseon. "Handy Bag." 😂

I believe he was also saved by the miracle plant. Back when the miracle plant demon told him he was offering himself in plant form for when a miracle was needed. At the end, the plant lit up and ML awoke with the cat eyes.

Looks like we're all fans! Bao Bao forever! I also hope she gets cast in another series with Arthur Chen. They were on fire in this one.

I still have to catch up with S2. I've been saving S2 to watch so I won't go through withdrawal, lol. It's so popular, they have to do a S3 for us die hard fans. It's such a unique, special series.
