I'm a little confused about how Situ is killing people. The first brother he killed, was it a combination of his dark arts with the flying petals slamming into his brother's back (not sure what his special arts stem from) and MY's artifact weapon? The next brother he killed, looks like he did it all on his own and somehow sealed what his brother thought was a deadly wound.

I have most of the legal subscriptions, WeTV, IQIYI, NFLX; however, as noted on Google, Youku has been inconsistent with their app for US users so I don't have that one. I go to kissasian to get the date info and do watch parties at a friend's house who has the Youku subscription. I've actually found KA to be pretty reliable with dates. As for Tom's issues, I think everyone on MDL knows how this person acts.

I know it's a plot point to move the story forward. As each petals falls, it becomes more serious for her and, in the end, her spirit beast will probably tell ML, she's dying because... so the ML can choose to save her with the M. It's annoying as heck though and I wish that plot point would come to an end so they work together out in the open as they will inevitably face the behind-the-scenes mastermind.

You're right, commenter LTM didn't mean anything by the comment, simply mentioning I don't recognize the ML but do recognize the FL from costume dramas so watching because I have an interest in her dramas. I live in the modern world; thus, modern dramas don't interest me, just a personal preference. I like to immerse myself in the costume dramas of the past, which is portrayed completely different from the modern world. I enjoy learning about the culture of the time period, the clothing worn, the architecture, etc. I hope to have the chance to enjoy the ML's acting here if this is released and add him to my list of favorite historical drama actors.

He's the young brother of a noble family where all the other brothers have spirit veins. I think the fox woman is in love with him so helping him but it still doesn't explain his secret identity comment. You may be right, if he was adopted into the noble family, he could be part of another clan.

I believe he still is looking for the stuff to get him spirit veins. That fox woman helped him master a special technique to give him some power but he still needs to find the stuff to get spirit veins to become really powerful. I'm just wondering why he said he better leave before she wakes up so she doesn't figure out his secret identity. He must have another identity connected to the fox woman separate from his noble family.

I don't think they explicitly stated who yet but the Emperor of Jinxiu's Mother told her evil son that she had ways to control XJS; thus, it might be her as a way to protect her biological son via maintaining control over XJS since he's been building up military power and merits.
