This person made a global statement of all Bai Lu's productions as "Typical Bai Lu junk" from an account with zero friends and with a global diss to Bai Lu. it's water army level antics to turn people off to Bai Lu's series. It has nothing to do with "If you don't mindlessly love a drama, you get labeled as a hater."

Well, I wasn't disappointed, frustrated or struggling to express my feelings constructively to someone who labeled is as "Typical Bai Lu Junk." No need to get confrontational back, right?

All Xianxia's usually have similar themes / tropes and have for years now. What does that say about you that you knowingly watched so you could comment here? A cruel twist of fate leads to a misunderstanding that ignites a heartbreaking conflict, even resulting in their demise. They are slowly telling us what happened prior in flashbacks so we have to wait to find out as other MDLer's say this is an original script and not from a novel.

The numbers are skewed heavily toward women even on MDL, let alone people watching these costume dramas. This is probably why the writers/directors are making their productions this way. You have a good point; however, we have to continue to hope for writers to switch it up a bit in the future.

All three males of the group are the trusted aides of the Emperor; thus, I think he'll help them work out the status levels in the end, if needed. The emperor can raise her status just like they give normal women a Princess title to marry off to another country when they don't want to send their real Princess.

Especially QYL's. It looks like it's floating on him. ML is taller so a better fit on the costumes.

I jumped on this one too as already airing dramas tend to slow down a bit in the middle before they pick up the pace again. Loved the comedy in this one, laughed through the first four episodes.

Yes, that c-drama trope needs to stay, along with when leads kiss, their lips actually move unlike a few years back where it was a smack and then their lips were frozen not moving 😭😭😂😂

It had a worthy ending for me; however, the rest was a slog to get through. This one took me months to finish.
