The numbers are skewed heavily toward women even on MDL, let alone people watching these costume dramas. This is probably why the writers/directors are making their productions this way. You have a good point; however, we have to continue to hope for writers to switch it up a bit in the future.

All three males of the group are the trusted aides of the Emperor; thus, I think he'll help them work out the status levels in the end, if needed. The emperor can raise her status just like they give normal women a Princess title to marry off to another country when they don't want to send their real Princess.

Especially QYL's. It looks like it's floating on him. ML is taller so a better fit on the costumes.

I jumped on this one too as already airing dramas tend to slow down a bit in the middle before they pick up the pace again. Loved the comedy in this one, laughed through the first four episodes.

Yes, that c-drama trope needs to stay, along with when leads kiss, their lips actually move unlike a few years back where it was a smack and then their lips were frozen not moving 😭😭😂😂

It had a worthy ending for me; however, the rest was a slog to get through. This one took me months to finish.

I totally agree, especially since there have been way too many SE in recent dramas. Blossoms, lol. Yes, too many of those as well. I enjoy Sci Fi - hope these new ones pan out.

I actually really liked it. The beginning of LR started off really weird; however, it picked up steam and was a good watch in the end.

This one and The Seven Relics of Omen. I haven't seen so many action Sci Fi series in the works for awhile. Is this a new trend for China tv?

I thought it was going to be the usual pat him on his injured arm and then a firm grip there to triple the pain but our ML has so much confidence he didn't need to go that far.

I'm totally loving it but now we have a skip day until new episodes. Good that there is so much out right now to keep us busy in the meantime.
