For this particular actress, her facial structure is all cheek from below her eyes to the bottom of her face. If she were to gain weight, she'd probably be to round in the face and not get as many roles. We should applaud her for not resorting to buccal fat removal to change her facial structure. This grandmother usually plays a person with strong morals, always wise and supportive of the good characters in a drama. In this one, she's pretty despicable. She sways whichever way the wind is blowing.

I'm usually amused by the drowning trope. In this series, ML is a great swimmer and it looks natural that he's swimming at a downward trajectory to save the FL; however, in some series, let's just say the actors should take swimming lessons if they're going to continue in costume dramas, lol.
