Poor second ML. Loses his Mom to her crazy schemes (although I wish she had succeeded in killing the Emperor), loses the love of his life to a competitor, then loses his little brother. Sadness all around for him.

I have as well. His portrayal in Ultimate Note was the best in that series that I watched - couldn't get into some of the other ones. Since I am more into costume dramas, I am looking forward to this one.

That explains it. She's such a beautiful actress she def doesn't need lip filler. What a horrible things to go through while filming.

LOL, good one. I think they're more overfilled with lip filler than overdrawn. Her lips looked normal in the first episode and then it looked like she went to a beauty shop for lip filler by the time a couple episodes had passed.

I know, big plot hole for the sake of setting up the shenanigans of the competition.

She was the highlight of Follow Your Heart series. Her antics were priceless. Great in Love of Nirvana as well.

At least the women can be as conniving as the men in this one, are mentally strong and can fight back, one with her wits and the other appears to have some combat experience.

I'm not sure he gave the order. The dark guards attacked him afterward and he left and went undercover. Their master may have given the order in his name due to wanting the book.

Agree. So glad they took a chance on him for the ML in a series with a higher production value.

They finally gave Alen Fang a worthy script as the ML. Things are looking up.

I'm not there yet. Sad to hear it. I like action series that move around so maybe I have more patience for this kind of series. I may be disappointed though to from what you stated.

I'm on ep 24 and still enjoying it - no skipping. It gets out of the palace and moves around quite a bit which I like to avoid series becoming stale.

No. It's an aged production that you don't need to watch first.. They put bigger stars in this one. Some people say that one is really good though if you want to try it. I have a hard time getting into the older productions.

Good point on the naming of Green Light workshop. It's not the best costume drama out there right now but so far I'm not FF skipping so I'll continue to watch.
